Just finished listening to book 1 and I'm onto book 2.

New audiobook. Has a powerful (and odd) start.

I'm loving this one so much.

Wasn't sure what to expect going in to this one, but bloody hell is it fun!

My next audiobook. Love the cover and the synopsis sounds cool as hell!

I am honestly scared to finish this book. I fear where it will lead.

New audiobook time. Hoping it's a bit more snappy than Malazan...

Well fuck me, that was a battle and a half. Damn, RJ... Damn!

I'm finding more and more things to do other than listen to this. I'm struggling with it. I don't really like any of the characters. The plot seems meandering with none of the threads linking up. I liked book 1, but this one is a tough read for me.

Back to Malazan and another confusing start it is.

I don't know. Something about an alien speaking in a condescending Brum accent just drags me right out of the narrative lol.

My next audiobook. I rarely read/listen to books as they come out, but I've been looking forward to this one since finishing Skyward.

My current audiobook and the 5th in this excellent series of novellas.

Quite enjoying it so far, but it is dense. I feel I need a refresher every time we come back to one of the characters just to remind me who they are and where we left them.

I feel like I'm starting to get a hang of this one. Not an easy book to listen to at first. Too much information and too many names. Takes a while to get them all situated.

Audiobook time. I figure I should probably find out what all this Malazan hype is about.

Picking up the Horus Heresy again after a couple of months of books gifted to me by generous authors. I decided to skip a bunch of ones that either didn't sound very interesting or had narrators that weren't for me.

Really enjoying this!
