You know that feeling when you're 1/8th of the way through a book and you have no idea what it's about or what's going on, and have no connection to any of the characters...

My next audiobook. I've been meaning to give this series a go for a while now.

My next paper read. I LOVE the Expanse, so I'm hoping for big things from this one, too. :D

I asked around for a sci-fi horror and this title was suggested to me. Sounded interesting so here we go.

Maybe I'm a little Sando'd out after my Stormlight re-read, but this one just isn't grabbing me as hard.

Let's see if I can slip another Cradle book in before the year's end. I'm going to try and finish the series by end of next year.

There's a reason I'm behind on my books read this year. And it's the Stormlight Archive. My re-read(listen) has consumed so far 200 hours of listening time. And I'm not sorry.

Time to see how it ends... for now.

I'm listening to this one. Portal fantasy isn't usually my cup of tea, but I'm really enjoying it.

I got an ARC of this one, but didn't manage to get started until after it had already releases. But I'm excited to see how the saga ends!

So far so good.

There's a whole bunch of my fellow indies I've been meaning to check out for a LONG time. And Zack is one of them. So I picked up his Threadlight trilogy on audiobook. Looking forward to diving in.

I received an ARC of this one. Always happy to read anything Cameron Johnston writes. Pretty good so far, but I have a feeling it's going to kick it up a gear very soon.

My current audiobook. I'm loving this series. Really well written and it has tension, excellent characters, wonderful banter. Just lovely!

This is my current audiobook. I listened to book 1 last year and really enjoyed it, so it's time to continue Sable's journey. Such a different epic fantasy to what I'm used to, with almost no action but tons of political manoeuvring.

I'm almost finished with era 2 of Mistborn. Certainly been an interesting series.

Almost finished all the short fiction for the Expanse series. They've been a bit more hit/miss than the main series, but all still worth reading.

I'm trying to pace myself because I desperately want to know how the series ends... but I also don't want it to end. Rarely have I read a series where the characters felt so real.

My next audible book. I figured it was time to get the era finished.

My current audiobook. It's time to finish this era. I know a lot of folk click with this series more than Mistborn, but I'm not finding it as compelling. I think a lot of it is down to the characters, which while being vividly drawn, annoy me at times.

My current audiobook. It's been a while since I last listened to a Sando book, and Mistborn era 2 has been on my list for a while. I'm enjoying it so far. It's nice to read a Sando book that isn't quite as strict over some of the more puritanical ideas.

Thought I'd crack on with a 3rd Cradle book because... why not? They're fun and oddly addictive.

I thought I'd roll right onto book 7 as I'm doing a bit of a progression fantasy at the moment.

Thought I'd continue my Cradle journey. Book 6 is pretty much all set up so far, but that's pretty standard for this series.

My next audiobook. My good friend Dyrk Ashton has been telling me about this book for years now, so I'm excited to finally get to read it.
