great. And I liked that they freed that other sec unit at the end that was really cool. ART kind of annoyed me, but I guess they’re both just working out what it means to be friends with each other. I feel like this one got a little weird with the whole Murderbot 2.0 and the weird alien virus thing. But there was definitely still a lot that I liked just not my favourite is all.

head. I still really liked all the character interactions though, fun for him to have a bigger team in this one. Really loved him with Dr Mensah, and also his interactions with her daughter. I feel like I could just read a whole book about him living on the preservation with Mensahs family and be happy, so I’m glad there was a little of that in this one. There was some very badass fighting at the start which was

This one wasn’t my favourite, I still really liked it just think I might prefer the shorter stories better, I feel like they get into it all a lot quicker. With ART being back I feel like so much of this story happened on a coding computer level rather than Murderbot physically going and doing things which I really love about the others. Also if I’m being honest most of the actual case of this one went over my

pissy about it. He was super badass too in the fights and it’s cool to see how good he’s gotten at using his hacking abilities to help him with surveillance and fighting. I liked the call back to the other books with old clients wanting to work with him again and him realising that he did have options other than being a pet robot, but that it was ok to also have a home while he figured all that out. Loved it.

This was such a good conclusion to this 4 book story arc. It was cool to see him interacting with the characters from the first one again after all the growth that he’s been doing since then. I liked that he came back to save Dr Mensah because she’s his favourite. I liked too that she understood that she had handled trying to free him poorly before and understood why he left, while everyone else was still a bit

Still loving this series. Murderbot is trying to help the people from the first one by getting them evidence that the mining corporation who tried to kill them are baddies but ends up having to save another research group too. I liked him interacting with Miki and seeing that some humans are nice. It was very badass him fighting the combat bots, his hacking is getting cooler as he grows. I love how snarky he is too.

mystery was still really good with lots of impressive detective work from Pip and the gang. I think the last one could be a real roller coaster.

Don’t super love the new podcast format. I don’t know just seems a little distasteful to be worried about recording and editing a podcast while currently in the midst of a missing persons case. Plus you get the added bonus of internet trolls ugh. The ending took an odd turn and Pip had an awful awful time that really traumatised her.
I still really enjoyed reading more about these characters though and the

they just click so well, it just wasn’t the same with her working with Connor which even she admits. It was interesting to see some of the repercussions of the first one still being dealt with in this one. Poor Pip has been through so much. It was a bit sad to see how these cases are breaking her a little bit each time. Her whole friend group has a lot of baggage honestly which is kinda sad.

I didn’t love this one as much as the first one but it was still really good.Different to have an active case rather than a cold case, more urgency for Pip.In saying that though I felt like the first half of the book the mystery moved pretty slowly, lots of just retracing Jamie’s steps and entirely not enough Ravi for me haha. But seriously I do think my favourite bits were when she was working the case with Ravi,

actually really helped in keeping track of who’s who in the case. An excellent read. I’m keen to read more.

other they had a super solid friendship first with utter trust in each other. I also really liked that Ravi was a match for her cleverness, he wasn’t just the bumbling sidekick. Some truly crazy twists and turns to this case. And the ending was bonkers! I really liked all the side characters too, like her family and friends. I thought that the blog entires and interviews transcripts were super fun and honestly

This was so unbelievably good!! I loved it! I feel like the mystery was honestly just as good if not better than some regular crime stories I’ve read, much better than I was expecting for ya. Pip was awesome, she was so fricking smart and ballsy too to just follow her leads wherever they took her. I loved her and Ravi working together, they were a dream team. I liked that even though you could tell they liked each
