The writing style is fabulous, love the scene setting and inner dialogue that's not cheesy or boring.

Repeated violence towards the heroin is difficult to stomach, maybe I'll skip ahead.

Is this going to make my heart break?? I have low tolerance for heroes who disdain or overlook heroines and then have sudden changes of heart, maybe it triggers something or whatever, it is almost as ad as cheating.

This is very wrong... The mixing of wannabe business with pleasure, no logic in dialogue or action... What's going on here? I'm having trouble believing KE wrote this.

The inexplicable, unlikely situations just turn more crazy...

This girl is just pushing a bad business idea and angling for the mogul to help her out based on pity and an old acquaintance, also probably subconsciously flirting. Since she had rejected him over a decade ago, persuing him now for money seems very very wrong, why doesn't she look for a different investor?? Or face the notion that her idea is maybe not that great?

So far we still don't know what this wonderful startup is supposed to be about, plus, she is only persuing him for his money (potential investment) after 12 years of a onesided highschool crush, on his side !! It will be really hard for me to turn that into a sucessful romance.
