This book giving me all the feels.

Sometimes the main characters’ internal monologue go makes them seem super immature. Ie, “Are you fucking kidding me! Seriously! At seventeen, I was a sophomore in college still trying to get rid of my acne and my awkward bullshit, while she was blowing up houses and stealing a rare jewel in the bloody motherland.”

I’m still really enjoying this book, but the writing could’ve definitely used more editing.

This is what I mean by weird, stilted dialogue: “Glass you are not, wife. Very well.” These characters are in their late 20s! Why are they speaking like they’re 55 years old.

The dialogue is sometimes stilted and awkward. And I’m not sure I buy that Melody and Liam have come to a perfect understanding and melding of the minds in just three days after doing one job together. But I’m enjoying this so far.

Ummmmm, already incredible.

The author’s use of single quote marks is DRIVING ME CRAZY.

I’m fucking devastated that I’ll be finishing this trilogy soon.

This book is so juvenile. Will I finish it? Or will I drop it? Who knows!
