I am SO into this book. Love Heather Guerre.

It’s been a really long time since I’ve read a new to me author that has me RIVETED.

God, I love Julie James so much. There is no better contemporary romance writer — she’s one of the most economical storytellers I’ve ever read. No scene setting, conversation, inner monologue wasted EVER. Everything has a purpose and is in service to the plot and character development.

I’m having a much better time reading this book than I did the first in the series!

This book is quite fun and has made me laugh more than a few times, but I’m just not sure where it’s supposed to be going.

What a strange little book so far. The audio is totally absorbing.

This is turning out to have a trope I didn’t realize would be in the book: ice cold heroine with doofy himbo hero. MY KRYPTONITE.

I really freaking dig the writing in this so far.

I made it this far, I’m absolutely not DNF-ing at this point, but this book was a fucking slog to get through.

I really don’t enjoy Luc as a narrator and think he’s a bit of a shit.

Oliver is so dreamy.

This is a *proper* enemies to lovers, I think.

Really like how confident a writer Evie Dunmore is.
