I dunno if I will continue reading the further Dresden books after this one or not; I may try and track down a different series to fill in the down time between bigger reads.

These books make the perfect palette cleanser between major books. They read quickly, don't require a whole lot memory jogging to recall the world (I mean, it's Chicago...)

And this one is about werewolves! All kinds different types of werewolves that I never knew existed!

If they ever make a movie or TV adaption of this book, and 'Welcome to the Jungle' by Guns & Roses doesn't play during the previous two chapters, then I will be SO upset. That Brandon Sanderson levels of "Get up and cheer" levels of hype inducing action, which is very, very hard to do with books.

Just a hundred pages left. So glad that there is a second book waiting for me, along with a third in development.

The HeartWyld is certainly a wild place. Some of the creatures running around in the forest in particular were really eerie.

As if with any good RPG from the 90s, there HAS to be a tournament in which the main party had to compete in in order to progress, and it seems as though that is about to happen.

This might be one of the most consistently entertaining books I have ever read. It's like a mash up of Monty Python and Final Fantasy, with a dash of Metalocalypse sprinkled on top.

My only gripe thus far is the lack of any indication from the get-go that it is a flashback chapter.
