For some reason, Kenyans run the first Lunar colony. Not Americans, or Japanese, or Chinese or European. Kenyans, who as far as I've seen have no space program. Sure things change but in the semi-near future I wonder? Okay so far. I am still hesitant.

Your days are numbed Charles I, granted I know this now from modern times but then it seemed impossible. How weird seeing the foreshadowing of his death and knowing it happened to real people?

Quite a different image of the Commander and his wife in the book compared to the television show. Where are young and beautiful Yvonne Strahovski and Joseph Fiennes are Serena Joy and the Commander respectively in the show, in the novel they're quite a bit older, Serena even using a cane to get around.

Fun and traditional but did we need another one of our companions to be a star crossed lover with a woman married to an elderly and loving male relative? Mandorallen is an amusing and surprising character.

Almost done so far. For all that Elizabeth is portrayed as decisive and firm she's surprisingly wishy washy about some things.

This portrays a fairly even view of Elizabeth which I love, I notice historicals tend to be biased towards her based on the Historians personal preference and it's usually pitched extremely one way or the other in regards to her. Either she's a manipulative (and Incestually concieved is a favorite one) vainglorious sociopathic bitch, or she's a modern woman who is the savior of mankind in her time.

When you learn how Puritanical Edward VI (Henry VIII's only living son to inherit the throne), yeesh. Certainly not as diet Catholic as Henry was.
