A dream sequence that borrows more than a little but from Even Horizon. Hoping it doesn't circle back around like Event Horizon did and venture into ripoff territory.

Picked this up at the recommendation of Susan Dennard, a favorite author of mine in a genre I adore but doesn't get much attention. So far the bouncing POV's is a little irritating but distinguishable enough so I'm not confused (a hard feat to accomplish).

"...I suspect that at heart he believes that marriage is the proper cure for a woman who writes. And he thinks a great deal too highly of himself. He loves himself far more than I could ever love him."

I like it so far but Chase is a jackass I'm hoping he gets accidentally turned into a frog or dropped or improves as a character. Instantly disliked him snapping his fingers at the heroine. A giant petpeeve of mine. She handled it MUCH classier than I would have. Lol

Dida is starting Isabella: The Warrior Queen
Found an audiobook version, FINALLY found a book available (not in Spanish) on the life of this most fascinating woman.

Excellent narrator on the audiobook, able to convince me that Snow and Mrs. H are two different people. Love this version of my favorite fairy tale and fairy tale Princess.

Did not know this was a novella, but as I've never read Caitlin R. Kiernan I must say I'm already a huge fan of her prose.
