Interesting seeing the story unfold and the different leads. Who done it!

A totally different book for me to read. Enjoying the different writing styles so far - the use of documents and interviews.

It’s not per se a love triangle but it slightly is and it’s annoying me. Plus why is the groom to be not wanting to do anything for the wedding. Why let his mother control everything. All the while the good guy is standing right there!

Excited to read how the friends go to more. Feel bad reading Lia’s side of the story at the moment as you feel the jealously. Such a shame.

A coronation being organised in a week. A tad far fetched. It’s just the unknown of the end suitor. We think it is Kile or he did seem the promised one. Although there is this dark horse of Erik. Trying not to peek.

Trying to get back into this series to get it finished. Don’t like unfinished books sitting about.

Unless the writer is trying to through us of the scent of Kile. Then they added Madrid into the mix but are they not technically like far off cousins so that should really be a no? I can’t see Henri being picked. Ean is the safe choice. Hale is a no after the chess match moment. Fox has a slim chance.

I wonder if there is going to be a twist in the tale. I see Erik having moments of perhaps sadness when he sees Eadalyn with other suitors. I did not see him a possible candidate. Especially with him not being a selected. How could that be spun? Eadalyn didn’t want to do a selection anyways although Erik basically another on the selection.

Eadalyn decided to narrow down the selection to the elite. Due to her mums health and recent operation. Like her dad’s selection she also kept the same number to 6. More intimate this way. Also as a reader you only get to hear about the main candidates too.

Henri is in the selection but his translator Erik is not. Unsure if Erik is adding more words perhaps not said. Sometimes wonder if there is more to the Erik and Eadalyn story. Maybe another twist to through us of Kile.

I am rooting for Kile although I know he originally wanted to leave the palace to be an architect. I think his mum put his application in to get him to stay or perhaps his dad or actually maybe the sister.

The Princess is letting her guard down with the selection candidates. Her brothers really are nice her. Giving her help along the way.

Still enjoying! Forgetting who is left in the selection.

I think Kile is a good choice. I think the will they won’t they is because he wanted to leave the palace. I think that will be the discussion going forward. I think he’s a good choice and they’ve known each other since well forever.

Glad to hear a continuation from the third book the caste system was demolished. Still unease in the country they believe from the younger generation. Excited to read this new selection.

These books are far too addictive.

Maxon really needs to pull something out his Royal hat for me to like him otherwise he’s still on the bad list.

In this dystopian world rights have just vanished. We thought Aspen telling America to go into the selection was bad. Maxon being part of that punishment was downright awful. If it comes out that it was Aspen caught them then he can go to my least favourite - right now though he’s winning!

We are now down to the Elite. So it’s between Maxon and Aspen.

It’s one of them sugary addictive reads.

So sweet - “it’s possible”

Getting interesting. It’s one of those books you shouldn’t think too much into the why and how. Just take it surface level.

Starting to hear more about Maxon and the surrounding places. Northern and Southern rebels. Enjoyed hearing about the stroll in the garden.

America has met Maxon. I had a feeling it would not be in front of the group. I knew it would be another meet cute. How he helped her get outside into the gardens.

Lunchtime reading. Question - why is there a class system in this dystopian world? Plus usually in the beginning people explain the classes. This hasn’t really been done so it’s like piecing the puzzle together.

Starting to get an idea of the dystopian country. Tier system on numbers and you’re not recommended to marry down thr tier system. The male royals host the selection - basically the bachelor. It feels like a mix between the hunger games and bachelor. Obviously with a teen dystopian there has to be a love triangle.
