My thoughts currently is there is a double agent in the police. I think perhaps DI Hawkins has something to do with it (hope not). With perhaps Daniel DeSilva doing undercover work to find said person. Perhaps he was using Andie Bell case to help with that.

Thinking the Jane Doe case and her own will intertwine someone. The book blurb mentions perhaps the wrong person behind bars.

The police don’t want to help Pop again. Insufficient evidence so far, they didn’t listen to her last time either.

Pips Mum also didn’t want to believe the was anything suspicious. Perhaps to keep her daughter level headed however should she really not think of Pip’s judgement seeing as she’s solved two cases?

Not sure why after everything that they haven’t placed CCTV out the front of Pips house. I know if they did would ruin the book but seriously common sense.

Saw someone write on a summary review to this book how many enemies does Pippa have - so true!

Hope the ending isn’t silly - I hope the title isn’t a give away Pip dies or is taken so her family needs to be the ones finding Pip.

Pip has a new case to hopefully be more right and wrong. Likely not going to be as such. She seems to want to take the burden alone - she really shouldn’t.

The book came today I couldn’t not start the first chapter.

Most use loss of innocent in a romantic way but for Pip it’s realising Little Kilton isn’t what it seems, once you know the truth there is no going back.

I liked how Ravi stuck up for Pip, well he always does. Through it all Pip is growing up and living her own life. She’s realising the murky points of being an adult. Not everything is what it seems. The loss of innocence.

Not sure if I liked how Pop went about vandalising Matt’s house but however she was angry!

Max Hasting - I don’t think Max portion of the story of the story is over. How his portion will come back into the tale I don’t know.

Okay new thoughts - is CB Stanley Forbes, matches up but I think it actually might be someone from the bookstore. They seemed similar age. Thinking perhaps the twist.

Then I think the Tinder person took Jamie and pulled him into encourage Pop to find who CB actually is, they’re like pulling the strings of Pip. She’s doing the hard work.

Oh my goodness a second case also combining from the first book. Oh my goodness absolutely so sneaky! Well played Holly Jackson. I didn’t see that twist coming.

The new story progresses whilst we get updates from Ravi on the old case. Max Hasting case has resolved - not guilty. Perhaps a clue for the next book.

It’s more the unknown of not knowing and I know we won’t know the full story until like the last 10 pages…

Actually have no clue why the Dad of Jamie will not partake in the search. His son has been missing now for four days and he doesn’t seem to want to be part of the search. One thing that’s annoying me.

I am enjoying the story progressing. I’m more not wanting this to be another murder. I hope Jamie is alive. Like with the previous case we are wondering if Jamie is alive or not.

Think they need to invest in more cctv around Little Kilton.

One of my new theories was Connor being part of the disappearance. Making his brother disappear and make a mystery to spend more time with Pippa. Doesn’t add up though to his stories, plus when they messaged the Facebook account Connor was with her - unless his brother.

Wasn’t keen on how Pippa j would say blackmailed her teacher. I would say a person of authority but we know how that went last time. Pips getting sucked in again, perhaps to also mirror the reader getting sucked into the story.

Enjoying unravelling the story. Find it weird the police aren’t doing more but again it’s for the story.

My theory currently that Daniel was protecting or looking out for someone. I think it might be related the Max Hastings case. Perhaps was attempting to get back up to his bad old tricks. Although why his Dad doesn’t seem too bothered about the investigation is very strange?

Wondering what other secrets will be uncovered in this mystery. Hopefully the missing person is alive in this story.

Who knew I would end up enjoying reading a mystery. Still feel like there is a couple suspects they can pull from the last book. Plus some new characters added into the start of this story.

Thought it might have been a bit silly to go out into the woods with headset on when there is someone trailing after you. The fact Pip done was annoying as went against all common sense. Plus not sure how you don’t notice your dog go missing?

This girl is seriously going so overboard for her project. Some questionable choices of walking into random people’s houses of potential suspects. Thought the main character would perhaps be smarter. Seems driven by the need to know more information. Plus the information gathering at the party - tad extreme and unsafe.
