Enjoying the introduction to book two. What is Locke going to do as the revel. I think Locke knows Cardan likes Jude. Believe he’ll do some plotting to make that show. Then Madoc seems to be in the shadows waiting for the time.

When reading this book feels like I get absorbed into the world of fairy. There is so many twists you never want to put it down. Plus you know hidden amongst the story is a scared prince who likes the human girl. The human girl who is turning more and more ruthless.

I don’t get how Valerion got into the house. With all of Fae land you would like they would have magic around the houses but no. I would call the retaliation self defence.

Madoc truly cares for the girls. The mention how their father floated how he stole his wife. Not the best. Ariana holds a different past. How her and Madoc got together yet to be revealed.

Really enjoying the book. I think some of the finer details might be pushed to the side for the story factor. Plus with the unknowns to the story doubt will understand the full picture until later.

Really enjoying the book. The twists and turns. I think perhaps Bailskin is Taryn’s secret lover. Cardan - excited to read more of his story. I don’t understand when Locke’s mum was murdered and how Jude was so interested in finding out the truth. She already told Locke they were just pretending.

Welcome to the court of shadows. The thing with Fae is the expected bad people can be good and vice versus. I’m unsure if Dain is good. Baleskin seems horrible. Cardan seems to be the brooding character. Yet to see his nice side which though I am sure he has.

My new fantasy read! This world of fae! Loving it! Aw Carden - he’s playing the long game. The grey character. How he looked annoyed when they were teasing Jude. Confused my Madoc. How we were introduced to him versus how he treats his family. I know fae have different rules so what he perhaps did was “normal”.

Put this book aside when reading the fantasy. Trying to finish it. A bit far fetched Alessia decides to leave on her own to visit the local shop and then kidnapped again. Caroline is also a bit irrational.

The battle of the Talon secret facility commences. The goodbyes before everyone split up was emotional.

Preparing for the next battle. I think Dante might switch sides. Also Mist and Riley must becoming something. Still to figure out what the dragon blood did to Garret.

All back to the safe area. The moment of the dragon with her egg - precious! Gathering troops for the inevitable.

The team has managed to take back control of the facility. Wondering how Talon is going to reciprocate. Plus Dante is still to do his own uncovering in Talon. Not sure if they’ll manage to “redeem” Dante in the story.

On a mission to free the female dragon breeders from the facility. Weirdly getting handsmaid tale type vibes.

Mist is working for the archivist! Interesting I wonder what they want the outcome to be. Why the push for the rogues to win. Then looks like they are planning to rescue the breeder females. Interesting how the book plot is going to progress.

The start was another women arrogant character who wanted to be the best. Wanted to keep her head down and make number 1. Who didn’t care about friendships on or off the court. I’m interested to see if her thoughts are any different coming out of retirement. Not everything is about winning.

I actually feel like crying for a heartbreak that is fictional. It’s ironic how Camila and Billy choose family. Although Billy didn’t make time for Graham when he needed him. I’m intrigued to see how the story ends.

Oh my goodness I feel like my own heart is breaking for Daisy. Plus Billy. He fell without knowing. They fell together. Sorry too but Camila watching and knowing all this. Then her heartbreaking comments to Daisy. Rooting for her.

When the kindle shows the time as an hour behind and then you get so caught up in reading. Honestly wanted to read on. Kept thinking there might be a chapter end but no.

Just like Billy and Daisy I can’t keep away from this book. I don’t even know if I like it that much. Half the time I’m annoyed with Billy and or Daisy. It’s written good in the sex, rock n roll way. With the angst. You want the angst between Billy and Daisy. You want them together but you don’t. They’re not good for each other. Plus you want the perfect family dream Billy has pictured.

Is it now starting to get ugly. I don’t want Billy cheating on his wife again. I think Billy and Daisy together would be chaos. You can’t really not feel things for someone you wrote a song about and for that person to sing.

Sometimes reading the book get annoyed with Daisy’s like no care attitude. Glad it doesn’t go too much into the narcotic lifestyle. Not really keen about reading on that.

Interesting so far. Trying to piece together the six. Interesting writing style of a fake biography.

Good to hear Tristan is back on his feet and pairing up with Garret again. Rogues and St George are now working together. Still some of the order have the old views still needing changing. Tristan is slowly getting there. Feel like there will be some bonding moment between him and Riley.

They met with the elder dragon. They now have the talon breeding facilities. Slightly a bit like a handmaids tail type vibe. Basically there is female dragons just used to breed. Quite gross really. Riley has always wanted to know the location to free these dragons. Now he knows. Queue the truce again with the order to fight!

There is an old Wyrm rogue who has been in hiding for 300 hundred years. I like how it’s skipped from last to present. I didn’t want it just missing a chunk of the story. Sure Kagawa did that trick to get the reader invested in the story in a couple of her other books I have read.
