Perry and his mother make a perfect family, even inside a nonviolent correctional facility. Love the characters.

Three interesting individuals come together around the beehives of Alice in the shadow of Mt. Hood. The sad situation of each elicits some sympathy like one feels for an underdog. The facts of bee life are a bonus, a timely reminder of what is happening to the environment.

Weird, but interesting as audio book!

It’s a fascinating murder mystery, but I feel conflicted about the author’s injection of her own emotions into the research. Not what I picked the book to read about. Still, I will forge ahead.

Well-written and interesting, though the structure and overall plot so far is a bit tired. Relative dies and young person goes to another country to solve a mystery or complete final task. Will see if a twist is revealed!

The chestnut tree moved to Iowa and followed by generations. The mulberry tree planted by the Chinese immigrant. Great narration.

This book has surpassed the hype... deals with depression in an interesting and unique way. No regrets!

Charming and full of laugh-inducing moments. Anastasia is quite intimidating, though Eve seems initially her match. Sweet Sally is the bravest, I think.
