Omigosh, what a story! What brilliant writing! The foreshadowing of the mental hospital. The bombing in Coventry hurt me physically. I hate to read more but I can’t stop reading more.

Sad but also interesting to think of how Native people must feel in today’s America. Reading generates perspective and compassion. We all carry our past - some are more aware of it than others.

I loved this from the first pages. It is inspiring! Wish I had pushed my physical self at an earlier age! The glories of movement and exertion and strength are beautifully described!

I love this! The powerless situation of our two female protagonists is clearly oppressive but slows the strength and resilience of people at their best.
