You'd think Tess would have come out with the truth earlier. Not like Angel wasn't gonna find out on their wedding night anyway...

There's something ... something about these books. They are particularly compelling - but why? I'm not sure.

This series has ballooned to 10 books but I've been promising a friend I'd catch up ... annoyingly it's been too long since I read the first ones and the expanding mythology left me confused, so I've got to start all over again.

More different from the short story collection than you'd expect. But no less entertaining. An easy, enjoyable page-turning read so far

"I would prefer a game where the last boss fight starts after the opening scene. I've always wondered why the boss waits at the end of the dungeon instead of showing up at the very beginning. That's what I would do if I were the Devil. The hero wouldn't have to waste a bunch of time wandering around a dungeon this way, and the story would end quickly."

- Love Haruhi.

I love how books about anti-racial hatred do such a wonderful job of pigeon-holing/stereotyping the German people.

Oh, ok this is early-history/journalism. Minor-niggles, very readable account of Hitler's early-life/self-aggrandisement.

Reading about Hitler's early life, What's striking so far is that he was a very ordinary routine kind of guy, it just turned out that he had some good insights into how to understand and manipulate people. Given the turbulent economic and political circumstances was his rise, or the rise of someone like him almost inevitable or did he have a gift when it came to harnessing people's hatred and fears?
