One of the greatest books I’ve ever read

This shit is so ass I can’t lie but I’m still sort of messing with it🤷🏽‍♂️😭 it reads like a low/no stakes fan fiction written by a guy who just read like an online summary of the characters and setting. However I love jujutsu kaisen so it is still fun to read some extra shenanigans as light entertainment

I’ve wanted to read Usagi Yojimbo for ages but now that I’ve got my hands on this excellent quality collection I am learning that I had no idea how absolutely goated this shit is. The Shades of Green chapters with the ninja turtles were awesome and such a blast to read, the jizu storyline was an excellent simple short, but Usagi’s garden and Autumn have shown me how absolutely incredible this comic really is

God dammit Darrow what the fuck is wrong with you…
So far this book is basically grr I thought we won but now everything sucks! From four different perspectives
The Darrow plot has been interesting but he just lost me pretty hard with what he did in this most recent chapter.
Lysander is a great pov addition and allows Cassius to remain in play which I love
Effrem is interesting enough and could be cool
Lyria idk

That defenders run was so ass but the herald stuff has been really solid and the art gallery was sick

So much of this book has such a melancholy tone; this climax with Roake and the scene after with Cassius have been two of my favorites. Such a specific feeling captured

“Homecoming” was fucking awesome I love the silver surfer! The art is absolutely beautiful and I really loved this story

More of a time skip than I expected and wasn’t sure if I would like it as much after the institute but things just got crazy so it’s looking good

Very much like will of the many lol had a stronger start but a weaker academy so far to me, it has been very good though. Getting super interesting. I don’t like Darrow as much as Vis but he is solid and brown lets him make believe mistakes as well that improve his character to me like what just happened with Cassius and titus.

So far just makes me wish I was listening to name of the wind again but it’s pretty good

Slowed down a bit in the middle here to get the second act going and lyoshi meeting the daofei has been the weakest part, but their powers are dope and I am enjoying the jianzhu plot still

The overly dickish bully and overly introverted nerd thing is a little annoying but honestly this has been a great read so far

Really enjoying this book, it’s awesome! Amok is so my type of character and hearing about the devious feats of the mentors was super exciting lol. Does such a good job of utilizing the groundwork the series set and making an excellent, well realized story within it. The characters and plot are really captivating already

Very strong so far and definitely feeling like a culmination. Not sure how I will feel about Ruin as an antagonist we will see

Really enjoying this already. My theory is that when Kyoshi turns out to be the avatar Yun will go evil and become the villain. Him or jianshi. Or both. Also I bet she and rangi end up together

The art is amazing, although neither of the first two stories have been particularly special
