Honestly almost too many creative gimmicks going on here lol more of a display of random shit than a storyline atm

Well that was a bit of a letdown, all this build up for Kaladin to use talk-no-Jutsu. Going soft on this book hurt pretty bad in this section I can’t lie

Lots of interesting concepts; would make an excellent animated movie artistically at the very least

Studio Ghibli mentioned ☝🏼 interesting that the protagonist feels kind of like a main secondary character from a Ghibli story, it’s like the story being told from Haku’s perspective or something and chihiro being the secondary character

The interludes in this book are much less of a slog than in previous books. I guess it helps that we know all of the characters and stuff at this point so it just feels like a continuation rather than an interruption

Liking where this is going

I find she uses lengthier sentences than necessary but the story and concept have been drawing me in pretty quickly

Young woman dissatisfied with her unexciting life path and missing parents established here we go

Insane chick repeatedly getting killed then reviving and stealing cigarettes while driving the truck but was hilarious

Art is definitely my highlight of this book so far

Such a good character study of Odysseus for a large chunk of this book but now we are back to Circe focus and damn she said fuck it I’m out lol excited to finish this when I get home

Really fascinating to hear about the odyssey from this perspective. When Odysseus was introduced at first in this book it was genuinely such a breath of fresh from all of the terrible people Circe encounters, it has been a ride since then for sure lol not sure hurts to see him fall from grace and yet there were signs. Glad that telamachus is cool idk what the long term gameplan is though

I feel like less has happened in the first half than in the previous books due to the amount of perspectives taking up pages; book is also pretty soft thematically but I’m still trusting the process

The Daedalus section🥺🥺🥺😢

Szeth story is solid but also his character is so dense it’s brutal, adolin plot still rolling strong and I like the addition of the sigzil perspective a lot, Dalinar plot is going slowly but surely, not fully sure wth is going on with shallan or venli

Story since the exile has been super interesting!

Read first 82 pages on plane to Florida, ready to pick it up again for sure. Everyone in this story is awful lol but that’s Greek mythology for you. Miller paces the story quite effectively when you consider how much has happened in terms of time and events already
