this book has already made me tear up twice because i love this child so much. i wish i would have read this when i was younger.

I started this to kick off some weight loss inspiration for the summer. . . but instead, i'm repulsed. I'm only 20 pages into this and it's already brought tears to my eyes because its sheer amount of fat shaming is so shocking! all Mitchell does is talk about food like it's an enemy and it's so guilt-inducing that it makes me uncomfortable and self-conscious. i'm gonna try and read on but might have to stop. :/

I keep meaning to go to bed early but damn this book... it's 4 AM and i'm crying because i'm so impressed by the sheer talent these stories pack. This is getting five stars, no doubt. Wow.

I honestly should have just DNFed this because it's not what I thought it was going to be and i'm not particularly interested in it, but I gotta listen to something while I clean my room haha

I've had to take a lot of little breaks to give my feelings a rest but i just about threw myself out the window at this scene and i'm pacing around my room trying to study for my reading quiz tomorrow in english class but it's nOT WORKING

I really loved the first half of this but then it turned creepy and voyeuristic and instalovey and it added paranormal aspects and made the phantom a villain and im like noooooooooo so its a struggle to get through the end of this :/

I thought this would be more of a memoir but i'm pleasantly surprised! he conducted research about relationships in the world of technology and it's interesting. not as laugh out loud funny as I was anticipating, but I still love Aziz 💕

This isn't what I thought it was going to be.... It's just the life story of some chick i've never heard of before talk about how much she wants to be single. I might DNF this just because I thought it would be more informational non-fiction, not a memoir

I read Alice several years ago in high school and decided I wasn't a fan because I thought Alice was ditsy and the story had no comprehensible timeline. This time around, however, I'm adoring it.

yeah my enthusiasm for this wore off. it's too up-front and obvious about its message? idk, it feels really juvenile. full thoughts coming when i finish it tomorrow

I started this on audiobook but I think i'm gonna have to finish it reading a physical copy. I just got to the line, "He had to choose between something he had become accustomed to and something he wanted to have," and it affected me so much that I had to pause the audiobook just to find that quote. I have a feeling that this book is going to knock me off of my feet.

I'm shocked that this has such a low rating on Goodreads! Even by page 18 I had posted on Snapchat that I adore it. It's beginning to lose some of that steam by straying too far away (I think) from its intention, but that first half of the book was such a punch that I'm hoping it picks back up in the end.

I don't know exactly why I decided to reread this in the middle of a semester, but I read almost all of it in 2 days. Strangely, though, this is a different reading experience than before. Usually when I reread shatter me books, i have to take frequent breaks to catch my breath and cry, but I'm making my way through this calmly. I don't know if i'm getting over it or if I'm just tired, but I'm very shocked at myself

it's soooo weird to read this for class because our professor emphasizes recognizing remarkable worlds and how peculiarities empower the children and this has so many amazing quotes about fantasy literature!!! i'm literally turning into a professor reading this but i love it so much

Rereading this for class!! I forgot how much I love this book. The writing is absolutely excellent, Jacob is such a witty and realistic main character, and the descriptions and the imagery are just to die for. Can't wait to discuss this tomorrow!

I literally haven't touched this since before I came back to school for the spring semester. almost a month. i honestly love it it's just really dense and engaging and i don't have the time to invest myself into something like this when i can only read for like 30 minutes every day and i wanna finish this all in one sitting :/
