i love skim reading

nothing like staying up until 6 AM to skim read this helluva book

i've been speed reading this on audiobook which means i have been gravely neglecting to actually listen to what's going on. i couldn't tell you a single thing that's happened in this book other than i found out that legolas is played by orlando bloom

die deutsche Kapitel sind nicht wie interessant wie die auf Englisch. Vielleicht ich mag dieses Buch mehr, wenn ich es besser verstehen kann hahaha

I'd say there's a 50/50 split of which ones in this book are good. It's gonna be interesting deciding whether I recommend this as a whole or not.

Okay... trigger warning for a very graphic scene of a horse euthanization by shooting it in the head. I definitely wasn't prepared to listen to that but I couldn't skip it.

I was listening to this while working out and I actually was able to focus on it quite well! I think i'll listen to audiobooks in the future while I'm working out.

we only read 9 of the stories out of here for class but hey if i spent my hard earned money on the entire book might as well read the whole thing.

Ich lese dieses Buch für meinen deutsche Klasse, deswegen meine Aktualisierungen auf Deutsch werden. Ich mag dieses Buch soweit! Die Bilder sind schön und ich denke, dass die Geschichte sehr wichtig ist. Ich wünsche nur, dass die Buch auf Englisch nicht so teuer war :/

I s2g I know i'm reading like 12 books right now but I have this one on audio and i'm making my way through it as I tidy up and organize my dorm room for the new semester! I like it, but I wish it focused more on her on the trail rather than the events that led up to it, so hopefully now that i'm past the very beginning, I can learn more about her adventure!

I pretend like Kaz Brekker is the best thing since sliced bread but in actually, Inej is my favorite character. Wow. What a girl.

the vernacular in this book is driving me insane... but the story isn't bad. there's just no commas and the grammar is purposefully horrendous so it's very dense and agrivating to read

this book is devastating.

I see how this book won the Pulitzer! It's so unique and unlike any short story collection I've ever read

Please don't ask me why I'm reading like ten books at the same time but may I just say, this is my only anticipated release of next year and so far it is NOT letting me down!!!! Ya'll are going to love this!!!!
