I appreciate accurate depictions of cats. They are the only thing of importance. Also - throwing knives at children is a wild circus act that I understand would need to be updated in a movie.

This chapter gives “…is this your man?” Energy. Very dump his ass. Why does Cleopatra have to beg?

They’re insufferable. The both of them.

Patroclus out thinking the men too caught up in their pissing contest. We have avoided tragedy… for now.

Plague. Anger of the gods. Men too proud too greedy too self absorbed to admit mistake and own up to it. Men ruin everything. Disgusting.

All I’m saying is polyamory is a beautiful thing. Children on the other hand… I’m not a fan. Two years and things change.

Oh how the mighty have fallen. Heroes aren’t always good people. But maybe it’s okay because he left one heir… then again if you leave someone alive you’re only leaving yourself open to future act of revenge.

Patroclus daylighting as a medic is nice. A much better place for him. I get a little more engrossed in the story. With over 100 pages left, I’m curious where this goes.

This chapter reminds me why I don’t care much to read about wars. Reading is comfort and I appreciate Patroclus’ efforts I’d rather not read about violence of this nature.
