Over half way. 19 chapters in. The war has officially begun. Hector is here. Achilles has turned into the killing machine he was created to be.

I remember pieces of the myth/history of the king killing his daughter to bring back the winds. It’s interesting the parts of the story I remember as this book unfolds.

Ah. Achilles wants to have a pissing contest with the King. Can’t be upstaged when he’s the Greatest Greek.

Odysseus tries to connect, but our heroes are weary of this. Their closeness is brought up, but they continue to preserve. The fade to black is not enough though.

I haven’t touched a mythology book in a hot minute. Heard good reviews about this one. Chapter one is short and I realize I don’t know much about Achilles.

We’ve wrapped up Benji’s POV for now. He’s starting to explore how to use his curse. Alone time with Nick is going to set up a stronger bond soon.

Opening and first chapter. Transman author writing about a trans boy in a post apocalyptic world centered around a Christian Cult raising him to be a weapon. There are Angels (I’m assuming cult members), Flood (some biblical plague), and Grace (Monsters made from Flood and nonbelievers).
