I kinda like the books that are like Mars isn’t really inhabitable. These sci-fi works aren’t realistic.

Reading this for a book club with the local gamers. It’s part of a novella trilogy, so short and to the point. It’s already grabbing your attention with the point of view of someone who’s faced a lot of oppression.

Reading through Prime Reading. It seems that I may have read this before, but it’s only vaguely familiar in a way that a lot of Marvel Comics are through my research.

Oh. Dr. Doom is the big bad. This could be interesting. Doom’s magic side is not something I’m as familiar with. Aware of, but not super knowledgeable.

I wanted to read a young avengers comic for Wiccan and Hulkling. So I had to brush up on Avengers Disassembled and House of M first. No complaints here. I do feel like I missed a few beats, but it’s close enough I can fill in the gaps.

How can someone be magical and non magical at the same time. How can you justify one conviction that contradicts the other.

The problem with making a show of punishing your prisoners is you can run into two issues: they become martyrs if you are successful or they turn this show against you and you fail. A show of power and pushing fear only gets you so far.

We had to keep it light with the entrance to the official offices. Then of course there had to be an excessive show of power. Like you fooled us once so now you’ll pay. They’re fucking kids and you were trying to harm them. They’re gonna run.
