Locking children in closets/mirrors seems to be a very big fear for British children. Remember the Chokey?

“Because,” she said, “when you’re scared but you still do it anyway, that’s brave.”

I appreciate accurate depictions of cats. They are the only thing of importance. Also - throwing knives at children is a wild circus act that I understand would need to be updated in a movie.
