This narrator kills me. Seriously, no other audio book has ever sounded like this. It's not even the ear-porn aspect (that's in most of the books I listen to at this point) but the DRAMA of the narration, the sounds, the commentary. I find myself slightly breathless when we get to the "climax" of a scene...but it's so over the top it's almost funny, too!

*flailing like a 3-yr old denied candy* I CANNOT TAKE THE WAITING FOR THIRDS BOOK 7 ANY MORE!!! These next 10 days are going to be TORTURE.

I'm going to go check out the THIRDS & CC's websites to see if there are other clues, info or stories I missed...and comb that damn GR THIRDS group, too!

OMFG I knew that excerpt would be good. Holy shit...I'm jonesing even more for the next book, now. Plus, I think I know what's going on given I just read another shifter story by CC where one partner gains strength and abilities from mating the other. (I still hope there's something about Dex being latent Therian though.) Also, thanks to these short stories I know where the file is that Mr. Wolf is after. Yay!

Seriously contemplating moving a couple of my better fics here after a thorough re-edit...there's a few that could be re-worked into original fiction (being as they so loosely tied into whatever 'verse they were inspired by). Hoping that might jump-start my muse again. S/he's only whispered to my brain very rarely recently and I'd like to see if that can be changed since I want to write that fic I mentioned in Spin.

You got some shit wrong this year SCOTUS but that ruling overturning Texas abortion restrictions was right on the money. It was also written in a way that a good lawyer could use it to argue a whole host of cases that run the gamut of legal issues...

I keep finding other stories to read so that I won't be drawn back to the excerpt for the next THIRDS book. I want it so bad but OMG the whole novel won't be out for another 2 weeks and that will KILL ME, knowing what bits are revealed in for that one already. *cries*

All of these stories were just what I needed to get through the days until the next THIRDS novel is released. I'm at the excerpt for the new one, and I want so much to read it but OMG there's still a couple weeks left until I can get my hands on Book 7 so I'm not sure if I want to tease myself...

Interestingly detailed but I stand by my assertion that this would have been an excellent ACTUAL Graphic Novel, as it was envisioned in Bad Idea (Itch #1). I wish a truly talented Damon Suede fan would draw it...

Visualizations are harder to make work but yay for coping mechanisms and controlling the anxiety/tics.

Hmmm...little irritated by the fatalistic attitude that OCD is forever, those tics are permanent and nothing will ever change. That's not like being color-blind or gay; there are some indications it might be genetic, but treatments like cognitive behavioral therapy do have some positive results allowing those with the disorder to control some of their actions.

*Undignified Squeal* O.M.G. My favorite couple has always been Calvin & Ethan, but sneaking up real quick and likely to overtake them is Seb & Hudson. Seriously, I ADORE them in these short stories - SO MUCH. I hope they get a significant story-line at some point in a future book. (But I still want an Ethan tying up Calvin Shibari-style scene more than ANYTHING in this 'verse.)

Yeah, see...trying to hide things from kids is THE sure fire method of making certain they figure it out real quick - especially when it's not JUST physical. Having sex while said kid is in the house? Yep, also not wise. Shared custody means kid-free time; if there was any real intent to hide any type of relationship then doing it on the days he's not there would have probably been a better option.

Ha! Something about trying out "The Gay" with someone other than the one you're fantasizing about seems really responsible...especially if you live with the person you want most. Not typical in many Romance books, and I appreciate the different approach.

I'm having a really hard time with this one because Kevin sounds like he's a fucking sociopath and that's scary from a 16-yr old.
