I fucking hate this book. The author is incapable of making anything exciting or even passable. Fuck. Right now listening at 2.3 speed to end the pain faster.

Man I don't know what to make of Bermejo. On one hand, he is very talented in an Alex Ross sort of way, but at the same time, it just takes something away from the comic book and doesn't really allow for a bunch of classic tricks like Kirby dots.

This is not a good book. Also where are the promised dragons?

Conan has no chill.

Yes, Conan is somewhat problematic at times.
Yes, there's a lot of issues really, with races and women and whatnot.
But they're also just awesome fun and there's a lot more tough and capable women in there than people give Howard credit for.

Okay, so when drawing the actual city of Beijing, you couldn't have included just one iconic building to make it recognisable as Beijing?

The artwork really is atrocious. I get what they were going for, but it's just not working for me.

The artwork is quite atrocious and the fact that it has spelling and grammar mistakes is just inexcusable.

So far this reminds me of Mad Magazine's Spy vs. Spy, but without being funny or particularly interesting.

It's a shame Garth Ennis is such a desperate edgelord.
His comics would be much better if he steered entirely clear of, say, homosexuality.
It seems he doesn't understand anything about how it works and he's scared by it too.

Understanding the Eternal Champion, the parallels to Elric, Yyrkoon, Cymoril, Dyvim Tvar and even the Ruby Throne/Dreaming City of Imryrr is very interesting.

Man, I really wish this was better written.
