This is pretty good.
Bit cringey at times and some of the dialogue is very expositiony, but it's pretty good.

Yep, it's an Elric book alright. Its like the other ones, not particularly fantastic or inventive so far.
Feels a bit like Moorcock writing his own tropes.

I guess his style seems wildly outdated when it's no longer set in the softening explanation that it was written 60 years ago.

This started out so strong and then dropped off fast and hard.
