So strange reading a book that was written before The Heresy.

I feel like a lot of stuff was added, which makes this even better than before. Or possibly it wasn't, and my memory is scarily impaired.

Jonathan Green is not a great author. He has good ideas, but his prose is quite wanting.

I hate the Shah. Apparently "nibo" and "takaru" is his entire language. The way he's voiced in the audiobook does him no favours.

John Malkovich is an absolutely perfect narrator for this book.

This old 40k is pretty good. No constant references to the Heresy and no constant dropping of names of models and armies.

This is running the PKD Course.
It started out quite good and interesting, picked up pace and then completely lost itself.
It's now unsure whether it wants to be crazy drug sci-fi or Alfred Bester sci-fi.

It'll probably end in a disappointing way, without any conclusion.
If it stays on course, that's what should happen.

Even for Dick, this one's confusing.
