Kaitlyn, last year I met my goal of 75 books and I wanted to increase my goal this year by a small increment. Also, I feel that 77 is an aesthetically appealing number. :)

I like aesthetically appealing numbers as well, just like I like either one or three exclaimation marks rather than two!
