message 1: by Jess (new)

Jess hahaha I love that it's such a specific number. Good luck!

message 2: by Thomas (new)

Thomas Thanks, Jess! I have two specific reasons for 64 (I know you did not ask, but just in case anyone gets curious):

1) There are 32 words in the chorus of Ariana Grande's song "Break Free," aka my favorite song ever, so if you multiply that by two you get 64.
2) My best friend has an obsession with then number eight, which if you multiply by itself you get 64.

Even though I already said it, good luck on your challenge too. :)

message 3: by Lisa (new)

Lisa Good luck to you, Thomas! I look forward to discussing many books with you in 2015!

Thanks, and you too, Kayla! :)

Raymond Richard Is your best friend Chinese? The number 8 is popular here.

message 10: by Thomas (new)

Thomas Rick, my friend is not Chinese, actually. But interesting note and thank you for sharing, I feel like I heard that somewhere but forgot about it.

The number 8 is considered lucky in a lot of Asian cultures, I think. My (Viet) cousin has like 7 8s in his cell number and my mom always says he has a lucky phone.

message 12: by Nancy (new)

Nancy Congratulations Thomas! (Hope you're doing better now and the vertigo is all but a distant memory.) Let's get to 100 for 2015, yeah? ;)

Thomas Thank you, all! Yes, Nancy, the vertigo is in the past and I will aim for 100 this year. Last year I got to 116, so, let us see where the rest of 2015 takes us. :)
