I couldn't find a decent cover for What Wild Ecstasy online; and only one with a decent enough size, so I blew up a smaller icon version and stretched, smeared and manipulated it to full sized version. I am so overwhelmingly tickled that our very own Heartfire bebe's made it to the big time. :*)

Yeah, me too. Even if it's not big edits like Marsha Canham did with Bound by the Heart, I figure the author's taken out things like the hero calling the heroine a whore and using a "nicer" word. :P

You could have been a diehard Linda Hilton fan! :) Honestly, not many people ever post in this thread, 'cause it's mainly a wall of Zebra Kindles. I thought, wow--someone's already read both versions of those books and was giving me a heads up! I can see I got the best possible response anyone could give!
There have been a few authors recently who re-released their older books, and changed some of the more controversial situations, like Marsha Canham's Bound By The Heart. She edited a rather brutal scene from the Kindle release. I read the paperback first, and skimmed the Kindle version to compare the two! :)
I look forward to reading your books, Ms. Hilton! And can't wait to add your Secret Fires to this Heartfire list. The Heartfire series is my favorite of all, and I spent a lot of time with these lovely relics. Finding high resolution covers, digging up authors who haven't written since those days, to check on their Kindle status, etc. :*) Another moderator and I, are starting a site, and my side project there, is a Heartfire, Splendor, and Lovegram cover gallery. When I first started the search for Kindle versions, I overlooked a lot of books by the fact authors had renamed their books! I think by now, I just pitch myself a cot in the floor of some of these author's Kindle page, and wait it out. :D

At some point in time, if it's not an inconvenience, I would love larger/higher resolution covers for Desire's Slave & Secret Fires, so I can add them to my gallery and also Goodreads.com book pages! :) I believe the ones that are up now, are the best quality I could find. I'm always looking for better quality copies.
Were you displeased with yours in particular, or Zebras in general? A few girls from this forum, and I--live for the nostalgia of the old Zebra covers. The artistry/painting alone, is enough to keep me entranced, before I even open the book!

But I do like your covers; earth tones are my favorite, and it's so autumnal. :*) Plus, the heroine doesn't appear to be floated to earth on a cloud of perfection, given wings of glory, and whatnot. Very lived-in beauty.
