On a crazy dare. Now, with over 33 books to my name including the bestselling Witness Series featuring Josie Bates and the USA Today Best Seller KEEPING COUNSEL, writing is my passion.

Before I began my creative career, I earned my B.A. and MBA and worked as an advertising executive. I have taught at the UCLA Writers Program, SEAK conference and other writing venues. I also volunteer with the Young Writers Conference which brings writers into middle schools.

I'm long married to a Superior Court judge (we met in high school) and am the mother of two creative sons. When I'm not writing I am traveling the world, sewing, playing tennis or reading.

I can't believe I haven't been here for four months. I have a good excuse. I have had my nose to the grindstone. I wrote 3 new books in the last six months and just released them yesterday. Check out The Day Bailey Devlin's Horoscope Came True. There are three in the series, but that's number 1.

Yes, there will be but not for a little bit. I can't decide where to go next :). I promise, though, Billy is okay. I wrote three new books that aren't thrillers - romantic comedy - just for the fun of it. I'm hoping that will clear my mind for Billy :).

Hope you aren't too hot where you are. Again, I apologize. (less)

“Crime was like litter tossed on the highway: once it was shoved out the window the only ones who cared were the ones close to where it landed.”
Rebecca Forster, Before Her Eyes

“He hadn't actually lied to her about anything; she had erred in her assumptions about his life. What Archer knew about Josie was what she chose for him to know; what she knew about him was what he decided to tell her. They had reveled in their independence and now she knew that was a mistake. Understanding that made her feel lost. It was natural for a lover to believe she knew everything - intuitively, instinctively and intimately - about the man she had committed to. Wasn't it?”
Rebecca Forster, Silent Witness

“I had to figure out if I was happier being with a live woman or living with the memories of a dead one.”
Rebecca Forster, Hostile Witness

“Writers fish for the right words like fishermen fish for, um, whatever those aquatic creatures with fins and gills are called.

Jarod Kintz, This is the best book I've ever written, and it still sucks

Greer Noble Rebecca I stand in awe! 25 books, my word! And you're so gorgeous :-) You now have another fan! May I humbly introduce you to my two books and another, my first non-fiction and a work in progress. Although Veiled Madness would probably be more up you alley, Checkmate is a very quick read. I'd be so honoured if you'd scan either and tell me what you think.. my blog http://greernoble.com/blog.html Can't wait to read yours. Tell me which one as I still have a pile of author friend's books I've been asked to review next to my bed which I'm sure you do too, only on a much larger scale? How you still get time to lecture I don't know! Veiled Madness by Greer Noble

Julie Achterhoff Thanks for linking up with me, Rebecca. Your books sound thrilling. I just sent in my fourth thriller to my publisher. Mine usually have a paranormal twist with a love interest.

Warm Regards,
Julie Achterhoff
