I’m a writer who’s been privileged to have attained the New York Times and USA Today Bestseller Lists.

Although I've primarily written historical romance, I've also written contemporary romantic suspense, a murder mystery, and I'm having a wonderful time writing about a vampire who is being challenged by her new state of being. (The Montgomery Chronicles: The Fertile Vampire and The Reluctant Goddess coming March 12, 2015.)

I believe in the power of the individual, the magnificence of the human spirit, and always looking for the positive in any situation. I write about people who have been challenged by life itself but who win in the end.

I think Sebastian from My Beloved is one of my favorite characters because of what he suffered.

Now, for the odd answer: I believe that a writer has to feel emotions in order to write them. So, I fall in love a little with the male character just like my heroine does. There are some books that I leave and feel as if I'm grieving and it's the loss of that relationship. See? I told you it would be an odd answer. (less)

Hi Keri,

The publication date of The Reluctant Goddess is March 13th, but I'd like to see it out earlier. I'm working with the production team to see if we can do that. Crossing fingers. (less)

I lived in a spooky house once. The dogs refused to enter my bedroom on the second floor and every night the door to the attic opened - even though it was locked.
