Hi Kenzlei...sounds like you have a wonderful little family. . glad to have you here.It is always good to meet another cozy lover.
Welcome Denise and Kenzlei! Glad you found the group and hope you find many friends and new cozies here.
Denise, a lot of cozy titles are great puns. Just reading the titles brings a smile and a laugh.

Welcome Text Addict! Glad you're enjoying cozy mysteries. Check out our bookshelf, and let us know of any cozies you recommend.

My name is Hilary and I live in the Buffalo, NY, area. I LOVE reading, but have found myself neglecting it as the demands of being a teacher, wife, and mother have taken OVER my life! I can't believe how excited I now get when I finish reading a book; before kids, it was no trouble for me to finish two to three (or more!) in a week! I'm a cozy "newbie" and I'm hoping all of your great suggestions will keep me hooked!
Welcome Hilary. Sounds like you need some relaxation time, and cozies are great for that! I hope you find lots of new books here.

Hi Carey! Welcome to the group. I hope you find plenty of new series here. Be sure and check out our bookshelf.

Thank you so much. I will check out the bookshelf more today. I already added one of the reads for August to my read-to-read list.

I've already found several new series I'd like to try just browsing this group - looking forward to expanding my horizons with all the great suggestions!

Thanks for having me.
Hi Peggy. Welcome to the group, I'm glad you found us. And I hope you can find some new series here so you'll always have somewhere to go next ☺

I live in Northern VA, and am currently a stay-at-home gammy w/my 8 month old grandson.
Hi Monica - welcome to the group. Where in No Va do you live? I lived in Annandale, Arlandria, Seven Corners, Pimmit Hills, Falls Church (city), Vienna, and Merrifield over a period of over 15 years.

That is a beautiful area. I lived in Winchester for 3 years, and during that time I was a floater teller and Front Royal was part of my area.

Hi Angela Lynn, I am hoping I can become more active on this group, but I have to be honest I do not get on here as often as I would like.

Hi Dee, and welcome to the group! I hope you find some new cozies here, and that you'll jump into the discussions.

Hey Amber! Looking forward to your joining in the discussions ☺ You're just in time for the August books, and it's never too late to comment on any of the older reads.

My name is Tina. I started reading cozy mysteries about a year ago and I haven't stopped since. I love them. I'm a big fan of the culinary mysteries and my very favorite series is Lorna Barrett's Booktown Series.
I'm looking to add friends to goodreads that also enjoy cozy mysteries. I'm interested in finding new cozies out there to read. So feel free to add me if you also enjoy cozies.
Thanks
Hi Tina. Welcome to the group! Glad you found us, and I hope you find new friends and books here ☺
Welcome to the group, Jen and Carmen. I hope you'll find some good books and join in the discussions.

Hi, I'm Barb and I'm a Goodreads junkie :) I'm from south-central Pennsylvania, and I've been reading mysteries all my life, probably because it's all Mom had in the house when I was a kid LOL I'll read (almost) anything, but mysteries are my first love, and cozies are my 'comfort reads.'
Welcome to the group Barb and Rebecca! Hope you'll find some new friends and books here.
Hey Barb, nice to see you here. I know what you mean - I remember waiting for my mom's issues of Ellery Queen's Mystery Magazine to arrive.
Hi Rebecca. What part of Virginia are you from?

I like the whodunit variety where the clues are given to the reader so the reader can play along and try to guess the killer.

My name is Debbie, living in Birmingham, Alabama. I am looking forward to reading the featured book on Sept. 1, "Still Life". Anyone else nearby in the South?
Welcome Jon and Debbie. Glad to hear you'll be joining us in reading September's books. I haven't read either one, so I'm looking forward to them!

Welcome Debbie. I'm South, but in North Carolina, so not really nearby .

I lived in Miami for awhile, still have lots of friends there. I often wonder why there aren't more mysteries written where the location is the gulf coast line.
