I think that Twilight is an amzing book and I don't like it because of all the "hype." I actually read it in the month it was first published and fell in love with it. I don't understand how people say that Bella Swan is stupid because she loves Edward in a couple of weeks or months. I mean I love him and he's fictional! How can you not?
And what do you mean Stephanie Meyer can't write? Apparently she can to be compared to J.K. Rowling (who is what? the richest person in England?)
At first I didn't really like Breaking Dawn but it is growing on me=D It does have closure and for that I am thankful. And I am starting to love Rennesme and Jake=]

but her writing could use some work (sorry jasmine)
but bd is still not growing for me...

And as for Bella, i agree with you Diana, she learned nothing as the books progressed. SHe stayed the same immature annoying more than normally clumsy mean person who abandoned Jacob!!!!!!

As for Stephenie Meyer's writing and all, it doesn't really bother me. I got too hooked by the story to worry about the style of the writing. Some books are amazingly written, but the plot sucks. Some books ... the writing isn't the most amazing thing ever, but the plot really draws you in, which I think is the case w/Meyer's books. And even so, I really don't think her writing is as awful as people try to make it sound. I've read waaaay worse. I mean, come on. She's not Shakespeare; give her a break. At least she admits she's not the greatest writer ever, but she does what she loves. That's what matters.

well twilight could've been ended easily if bella had been turned into a vampire
but i actually liked the movie (especially ERIC!!!)

Oh, and The Host is amazing -- better than Twilight, even. :D

its not just breaking dawn thats bad though. I mean if you liked the series in the first place, you shouldnt be so harsh on her last book although she did rap it up pretty shittily and i was so dumbfounded at her lack of cleverness at naming people i mean please, RENESME?? God. But if you like the series, BD is not esactly backing you up so lets move on.
this is not a forum to feel sorry for meyers last book, which wasn't THAT bad, I mean it wasnt any news that it was no good, but i had no idea it would throw so many fans down the tubes.

Ugh i hated that book so much...

and i liked the (somewhat) originality of the name
but the movie was pretty good
and jasper is SO hot in real life (not in the movie)

in the movie, he's all googly-eyed (not scared, more like surprised)
and all the vampire's hair is messy
but in real life he was REALLY good looking

Edward (and if anyone called him Ed or Eddy I'd shoot them)
and
Jasper
I mean her books might've sucked, but stephenie did good jobs with the vampire names

after twilight, everyone knew what i meant
i mean you couldn't call edward eddy (that'd just be wrong!)

i don't see how James becomes Jim though...
and Thomas to Tom is okay...
Oh, I love the name Harrison!

1st. i dont like fantasy- and the book was not my type.
2nd. She uses muttered, murrmed, and whispered WAY to much. Its a long book so its not hard to understand she'd not be able to have a new word for everything but theres lots of repetitive words.
3rd. its long and if you ask me- pretty much slow paced and boring. i just cant work with long books.
4th. edward's personality is a.blank or b. not described by meyer
5th. It to me seemed un-beliveable, the charecters were prety much "perfect" with quirks passed off as flaws.
IMPORTANT ONE:::
6th (i added a new one). i dont think she should have made them vampires, throughout the books (as i hear and have seen slightly) changes her definition of them. also I think realy the only thing the vampire thing did was A. have an excuse for making them perfect and B. give a certian twist, which she didnt need vampires to do. i would have loved twilight even more if she hadnt twisted the definition of a vampire then made them vampires
7th (i added another new one). i think that it has a lack of strong plot and i dont see much of the climax.

I hate twilight too! Oh i know where ive seen you before!!
Youre in the Twilight Haters group right??
Hii!!

but i enjoyed the vampire parts even if it was unnecessary
and i like fantasy and can keep going with long boring books (my talent ;) ) so i guess that's why i don't hate it as much as you
and i hope they let midnight sun out! (want to read it so bad!)
