Wow, slow much? You said the reason you hate the books is because Bella gets rescued every time & there is no sex in the books. Both of which are FALSE. BULLSHIT.

You're acting like those Christians you like to debate with, who say one thing and then change it when it's proven wrong. Hypocritical lying bitch.

Xox wrote: "Is Twilight a religion to you?"

AHAHAH, what? No. I never even said I like it. I'm just tired of people hating it for reasons that aren't even true.

It's reason for you to hate Twilight, but not the whole series.

How do writers get better? With time. She wrote the other three after she wrote Twilight. So, logically the other three would be better.

Vїllaїп (lost_machina) | 59 comments J,

Xox can hate an entire series for no reason. He can do that, easily in fact. All he has to say is: "I HATE TWILIGHT FOR NO REASON!" I'm not saying that he has no reason, but stop saying that you need a good reason in order to hate something.

I agree with Xox on the fact that Twilight fans are more annoying than HP fans. The Twilight series wasn't even that famous until the movies came out. And the only reason that those movies are famous is because millions of screaming girls would love to see Taylor Lautner on the big screen. That's just a bit annoying.

I never said they were better. Just saying it's logical to assume they could be.

message 908: by [deleted user] (new)

Hahahah, do whatever you want. Just at least know your facts before saying things about the books.

message 909: by Ruchi (new)

Ruchi (ohlookitsruchi) Strangely, the writing doesn't bother me nearly as much as the ideas she presents in her books. I have actually read the whole series with fascinated horror. Well, the first one could easily be written off as generic chick lit, and possibly the second as well.

But the fourth one? She gets knocked up and dies during child birth. Whoops, spoiler. It honestly freaked me to no end- the way she sugar coats things that would sound quite twisted if seen in another light. I did passionately hate the series at one point for what I see as an anti-feminist outlook (or maybe its not anti-feminist- maybe its just Bella that is lame), but now its sort of mellowed down into a cheerful indifference. Well, mostly. I can't wait for the fourth movie. I hope they make one, I'd love to see how they manage to do a vampiric dental c-section.

I know!
Not to mention other issues she is putting out there!
Come on- if my "boyfriend" (i dont' have one :D- yes, thats a good thing) came up to me and said;
'I watch you sleep- every night. Oh, and by the way, i want to kill you every living second of your life. But none of that matters because i love you.'
i'd be like WTF- what the hell is wrong with you!

Don't you think thats a bit iffy?

Meyer is pratcially saying- stalkerish, murderous/killing intent boyfriends ARE alright as long as they say 'i love you' after ever sentence. Like COME ON!
And whats with the sparkling.
Meyer pretty much took one of the best horror creatures and made it look like a sparkling poofy fairy. God, Edwards just short of Retro then he will be... oh wait- i just saw Patterson's haircut.
Thats another thing i hate
people: metro (or is it retro) = poof

GET IT RIGHT!!!!

Re: Katyx.xStarship

Yes, it's how I feel, I hate the book.. but there are like 5,000 oher books I hate as well. It'd be the same if you liked the book. People need to just get the h*ll over Twilight. woo, good for Stephanie Meyer, she got popular with no talent, woop.

hmm. i agree! and den she tries to get an attitude with her fans, tellin em to nt even look at her in da eyes-.-

message 916: by [deleted user] (new)

I'm sorry but here's how I see it. The book wasn't that well written. I guess for her first story it was good, but she just go this attitude and won't grow from it. Any good author needs to learn and grow from their mistakes, she HONESTLY believes she makes no mistakes in writing. She HONESTLY believes that she knows all there is to know about writing stories. Even Stephen King, who has hundreds of books out still learns and grows from each novel he writes.
