Hey, I just ordered it from Amazon Prime (it was too hard to pay $8 for Kindle when I could buy 3 pb books for the price of 4). I should have it early next week to start!
Yz,I read Like Water for Chocolate as a buddy read with Vi. I enjoyed many aspects of the book, but was also bewildered by some of it. Thanks for the rec though, I am glad I read it :)
Thanks for reading it with me Vi!
Reetuparna wrote: "Mountain Kat: i finished reading Exclusively Yours and In Bed with a Highlander The former was a ok read for me since im not much for family stories.. but the latter ..."I'm glad you are enjoying your picks! I'm sorry you didn't like Exclusively Yours more. I guess we aren't reading In Bed with a Highlander as a buddy read, but that is probably for the best anyway since I am not getting much reading done yet. Pain meds make focusing difficult! I am so glad to hear you liked it though, I am really looking forward to it!

I finished A Wallflower Christmas early this morning! Couldn't sleep, so I thought I'd read. It was quick, at only 200 pages.Loved it. A must-read for any Lisa Kleypas fan. Wonderful to catch up with the Wallflower characters again.
Now off to do some reading for another challenge. But I just might be able to fit in another read from the list that Sandy made up for me!
Cathy, I finished Wolf at the Door. It was exactly what you said it was: a funny quick read. Thanks for the motivation to get it off my tbr list!
Mandy wrote: "I'm always super impressed by the stats. That must take you forever, Diane. Thanks for the effort!"I'm glad people enjoy them. You are right, they do take a long time, but it is cool to see how the top recommendations change or stay the same over time.
Mandy wrote: "Cathy, I finished Wolf at the Door. It was exactly what you said it was: a funny quick read. Thanks for the motivation to get it off my tbr list!"I glad you enjoyed it. The rest of the series is in the same vein.
I finished All Together Dead my buddy read with Joyce. I like the Sookie books a lot and gave it four stars. I liked Quinn. I wonder when he will be on the show True Blood, though Eric will always be my favorite of Sookie's men. I will read Garden Spells next and then I have another buddy read to read with Joyce, Clockwork Angel.
I've just finished Daughter of Smoke and Bone, my buddy read with Valerie. I enjoyed it a lot, but it was a bit more fantasy based than I was expecting.
Hi Reetuparna!. I finished Jinxed over the weekend and really enjoyed it. The characters and their banter were great :). Thanks for the rec!
Hi Megan,I finished Taking Chase yesterday...boy those Chase men are yummy!! Thanks again for the recs!
Hey Eimeriina~!I just finished Before I Go to Sleep. I am afraid I didn't like it as much as I wanted to. Nonetheless it was a good mystery-slash-thriller read and I am glad I read it. Thanks for the rec!
I finished In Bed with a Highlander, my buddy read with both Christine and Lauren, and loved it! Thanks for the recommendation Christine!

just today and it was awesome. Thanks for the picks, Kimberly."
You;re welcome! I'm going to read it this weekend.
I forgot to post it before, but I finished
last week. I really liked the J.D. Robb story, the others less so. Also, I think the Laurell K. Hamilton story was actually an excerpt from Narcissus in Chains which was a bit strange but not bad.
Kimmy - I got Soulless today and plan to start reading tonight. :)@ Diane - Firefly - sounds good, I've been picking away at it slowly! :)
@Isabella - I should be able to start Naked in Death sometime next week if you still want to do the buddy read. Let me know and I'll start a thread in the "Dare you to Read" folder.
From my picks I finished Master of the Mountain and Faith & Fidelity. They were both really good books!! I especially loved Faith & Fidelity.
Christine wrote: "@Isabella - I should be able to start Naked in Death sometime next week if you still want to do the buddy read. Let me know and I'll start a thread in the "Dare you to Read" folder."Sure it would be awesome to me next week. I'm reading for now The lightning thief recommended to me by Debbie. I'll finish it on Saturday and I'll have time next week for Naked in Death
Christine wrote: "@Isabella - I should be able to start Naked in Death sometime next week if you still want to do the buddy read. Let me know and I'll start a thread in the "Dare you to Read" folder."I also have "Naked in Death" as a challenge read this month. Mind if I join you on your thread?
Tiffanny wrote: "From my picks I finished Master of the Mountain and Faith & Fidelity. They were both really good books!! I especially loved Faith & Fidelity."I'm glad you liked your picks Tiffany. Dee recommended Faith and Fidelity to me a few months ago and I love passing it on. I just finished Hot Head which was similar in that they're straight, but very different (and very sexy). I really enjoyed it, you should give it a try. :-)
Isabella wrote: "Christine wrote: "@Isabella - I should be able to start Naked in Death sometime next week if you still want to do the buddy read. Let me know and I'll start a thread in the "Dare you..."yep, Naked in Death is a good one too - enjoy
Kerste - just wanted to let you know that I have started
