Title/Author: Slave to Sensation by Nalini Singh
Date finished: 21 August 2011

Review: Normally I don't get into a series until book 2 or 3, but I did like this one once I got about 1/2 through with it. It reminded me of the movie Equilibrium with Christian Bale, which was excellent. I look forward to reading the next one's in the series ;)

Review: The Summoning is about a group of teens who are living in a group home. The main character, Chloe, sees ghosts and is admitted and told she is schizophrenic. She starts to look into things in the house and becomes convinced that she really can see ghosts. She starts to think that the caregivers are up to something and she and housemates decide to take matters into their own hands. This book is obviously part of a series and I want to read the rest of the series. It is written in first person and the other characters have paranormal strengths.

Review: After I finished reading this book back in June, I wanted to re-read it immediately. This time again, I liked it much better than the first read. I still don't know why certain arcs were there but I do hope it was done for a reason. I'm still in love with Kate and Curran.

Review: Nothing more and nothing less than expected. Fun characters, bad guys that exist only so our good guys can prove points, minimal plot and lots of smart ass comments. A featherlight read that made me smile a little and let me save my brain power for my projects and upcoming exams, while providing me with a fun story to relax with. Again, the cover sucks - too sloppy for my taste.
The epilogue gives us a glimpse into Angelina's story and I'm looking forward to reading that one - tigers!

I have that one TBR, Cindy. I'd love to hear your thoughts on it when you're done.
LOL Kristen - that it is. Here are some others, not necessarily any better though. It's what's inside that makes it hot. >;)

Review: I really like this series so far. I like how self-sufficient the main character is. I keep comparing her to Anita Blake because they both start out as paranormal enigma's in the community and I really hope this series doesn't go down the same road as that one!

3. Review: And, now I'm done with Book 4 of the Lords of the Underworld series. I really liked this one. I sooo ♥ Gwen! She was too awesome. Her and her sisters were pretty interesting to read about. I hope to see more of them in the future books. Sabin and Gwen together were also too cute. Anya as always had me cracking up.
I can't wait to read the next one. I have all the rest that are out so far. They're just sitting here staring at me, but unfortunately I need to read something else. I'm gonna miss the Lords.
Now it's time for me to read about a dangerously delicious dragon.

I'm going to read

Mr. Randomizer has now redeemed himself. ♥ ♥

4. Suzanne: City of Fallen Angels★★★ 9/4
5. Thenia: Desire Unchained★★★★ 8/31
6. Alyssa: The Good, the Bad, and the Undead

Dreamfever is a re-read though but I'm sort of in a reading funk, so I think it might help me come out of it!

The second one I would suggest is Fallen. I love that cover, BTW. I spent so much time staring at it when I was reading it.

You now have an updated BINGO card with a stamp on 'alpha male'.
[Your new BINGO card can be viewed on page 1]
Good Job!! :D

I've been staring at the Fallen series covers too. All the covers are gorgeous. How did you like it?
I have been meaning to ask this question for a long long time - how do we win Bingo? In my defense, I did go to the wiki page but my eyes started to glaze over in two paras - so much info :(

Then you have to be lucky and get 5 shelf stamps in a row, any which way, ie up, down, across or diagonally. It doesn't have to include the freespace stamp, though it frequently does.
That's why Mr Randomizer plays such an important part. It is all in the luck of the shelf.

I'm not ready for the game to be over yet! It's too much fun!!!

I don't know what I'm going to choose for the demons yet, maybe

I'm not ready for the game to be over yet!..."
Don't worry, I doubt the game will be over THAT quickly. Laura hasn't read/finished her Free Space book, so in reality, we only have two stamps. I will be SHOCKED if Mr. Randomizer spits out "paranormal romance" next. And just a teeny bit disappointed. I like the game too, and it would be sad to end so soon. :D

I've read the first two Fever books so far. Just need to find time to read the rest.
I've only read Fallen. I have Torment but haven't had time to read it. Now that I look back at it, I see that I wrote a review for it, because I read it during R2 Bingo.
Here's my review if you want to read it. It isn't much.

LOL! Doubtful. But, happy to hear you are enjoying it that much.
I'm sure Mr. R will keep things interesting. But, ya never know. That's part of what makes it so much fun.

Stars: Four (but I'd really like to give it 4 1/2)
Review: There are many reviews out there, so all I'm going to say is: "I want a Raphael!"
Date: 8/28

Now I know why they are always checked out at the library!

Yay! I'm about halfway through it right now. I like it so far.

Review: Darius is the dragon king who has shut off his emotions, Grace is looking for adventure and plans to meet her brother in the rainforest to help with his Atlantis project.
I liked this, it was a quick, easy read. I'm not desperate to get the next one but if I see it, I'll read it.

Review:Interesting book, with a cursed hero, a scorned woman and a psycho villain. It has a few twists and the story gets more complex as you go along to learn more about the demon world. There are also a couple of side stories that will probably progress in future books.
Looking forward to Wraith's book - according to the preview it'll be a good one.

Review: It was really good! I was actually getting excited about the descriptions of the football games and I don't even like football! I look forward to reading the next one!
