Book A - I first chose option 4, reading a book set in Australia or Oceania. Read Coming of Age in Samoa: A Psychological Study of Primitive Youth for Western Civilisation by Margaret Mead. Obviously, this book was set in Samoa in the western Pacific.

20.7 Shorter is Sweeter. Tami's task: Quips and Quotes

One of my favorite quotes, and one that I think is important to try to live by is from Abraham Lincoln:
"People are just as happy as they make up their minds to be."

In keeping with this quote, I read The Happiness Project. She was essentially living out this quote - making up her mind to make changes in her actions and attitudes that would make her and those around her happier.

25.2. Sandy's Task: Your Bucket List

A. Most of the items on my own bucket list involve travel and going to places I've never been. One of the places I really want to visit is Australia, so I read In a Sunburned Country. After reading this, I want to go there even more!

B. From the "1001 Books" list, I read The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao.
