30.6 Myth-behaving Greeks
I rolled a 6 and a 1. For Book A, I read Mudbound by Hillary Jordan, where all of the primary characters live on farms. I really enjoyed this book, giving it 4.5 stars. For Book B, I read Before I Fall by Lauren Oliver, which was on the Books that Made You Cry list on GR. I didn't care for this book, giving it 2 stars.
Franklin, Jordan and Oliver are all GR authors.
Outlander is a BIG BOOK at over 750 pages.

25.3 - A Better WorldA. Death of a Bore by M.C. Beaton
A traditional murder mystery story. Hamish Macbeth is a village policeman in the Scottish Highlands. He fits well with this task because he repeatedly refuses to move to the town for a detective job, on the grounds that the police station would be closed and there would be nobody to look after the safety of the people living in his remote area. He feels that this is his role.
