I'm in Switzerland, but I mostly use www.bookdepository.co.uk to order books online (no shipping costs)... Have you tried it?
Woo Hoo, I am excited, everyone that signed up (even a couple extras) have gotten recommendations now. Thanks everyone for your part in completing that part of the challenge. The reading has already begun, some have already finished *Congrats to them*

Hey Ari, I finished Stargirl in a day, such a brilliant book. I found it really hard to put down and I was quite disappointed when I had finished it as I wanted to read more. Thanks for the rec :)
Katherine, I finished up Angels' Blood today! The book and I had a love/hate relationship throughout, but I ended up really liking it. Thanks for the awesome rec. I'm going to try and get to Butterfly Swords as well this month!
Fran wrote: "Hi Penney- I finished He Loves Lucy and it was great! Thanks for suggesting it and I'm glad you liked it too."Hey Fran, I finished He Loves Lucy too and also loved it. Thanks for suggesting it first ;)
I just wanted to mention that I LOVE this challenge!Ann
I can never decide which one I am going to read so instead of pretending like I will I am just going to say I am really impressed with your recommendations, and I will see which ones I can get a hold of. Also I have added them all to my TBR and wishlist;) I will let you know which ones I end up with!
I read Someone to Watch Over Me and well it's probably my second least favorite LK book. for the most part, I can pick up one of her books and almost have to force myself to put it down. the story was so obvious I couldn't bear continuing so i kinda cheated and skipped to the part Morgan realizes Victoria isn't Vivienne.
I finished A Rake's Vow today and loved it. Vane so clearly shows what Laurens does best - strong hero's with strong family ties. The opening scene where Vane is fleeing from Devil's reception is classic... Thanks Hina for the great pick.
I just finished One Foot in the Grave and loved it. This book is so great! obviously, its a paranormal romance so their relationship is an important aspect of the book but i love the butt kicking action and witty dialog. Her relationship with Bones is so cute. Bones inst perfect but he's such a great guy. He's currently my favorite fictional male character. It's so hard not to be on the sidelines rooting for Cat, I think she's a great heroine. So far Im really enjoying this series.
Okay Britta-I decided to read something totally different (after all isn't that the point of these challenges) so began Tithe as you recommended. I'm not very far yet but hope to be able to read tonight.

I am so glad that you like the picks! I love this challenge too.
And let me know if you decide to read Undead and Unemployed because I just got it from the library.

AmberI finished both You Slay Me and Zen and the Art of Vampires by Katie MacAlister. I liked Zen more than the other one, but neither book really won me over.
I'm starting Moon Called today and I got Water for Elephants, so let me know if/when you want to start reading it. I can either wait for you and we can read together, or I can tackle it solo later this month.
Cheers!

Thank you..very good picks. I actually read Roots twice before. I guess I need to put that as read on my list. I also have listen to it too on audible.
I am nw to the challenges, next year will do the A to Z....
Glad you could join us Barbara, you were able to find something new for you to read though right? I know these challenges are a blast, lol and additive :)
Debbie wrote: "Glad you could join us Barbara, you were able to find something new for you to read though right? Looking forward to it and to making new book friends/family
Amber ,Just finished Moon Called and I really enjoyed it. Cool that it was set in Tri Cities, my MIL lives there, we head over there 4 or 5 times a year. Thought it was a well paced book with great characters. I'm looking forward to reading the next book in the series soooon.
Great rec, thanks for getting it off my TBR!
AngI've finished up Promises and Natural Law which was recommended to me - loved them both...i'm planning on reading the rest of both series when i get a chance
Woohoo! I finished Happy Ever After...tempted to read the whole series again actually! I'm hoping to read a couple of others that were picked for me, but we'll see if I get to them this month!
Ann wrote: "Woohoo! I finished Happy Ever After...tempted to read the whole series again actually! I'm hoping to read a couple of others that were picked for me, but we'll see if I get to them ..."It was good wasn't it... I've put them down on my list of re-reads as well.
ooh, I just got that one in the mail today, I am so eager to read it but I have a list and it isn't next :(might have to rearrange that list ;)
I have Happy Ever AFter to read as well...trying to figure out how to work it into a challenge...lol! (already read my N and my R books for the month :( and my reader's choice category
lol...but soo many books, soo little time! haha! i saw Rossy posted a finish the series up dare...so i'll probably put it there - along with a few others
lol, I missed that one, I knew she was going to do something like that. Now I have to go find it.Great another challenge to finish by the end of the year lol - keep 'em coming :)
Nicole, I finished Undone tonight. Good choice. I thought it was a good story with good characters. But it was definitely an incomplete story. I don't know if I'll go back and read the nine books that came before and brought these characters to where they are now. But reading this makes me want to do so.
Christine S - I finished Nine Rules to Break When Romancing a Rake tonight. While I'm not a big historical romance fan, I did enjoy this book, mostly because Callie was taking charge of her destiny and breaking out of the spinster mold. Thanks for recommending it.
Sandy, I finished "The Handmaid's Tale." I love her style of writing. I had trouble catching on who Nick was in that like "house group" was he a guardian or what? Though, I guess in the end he was really on her side. Thanks for the pick! Will be starting "The Secret History" soon.
Tina,I was at the bookstore today, and I found Dead Until Dark :) So I'll start that once I've finished reading New Moan xD
But I'll keep an eye out for the rest of my recs too!
if nothing else, if you read Beyond Reach that will help explain most of the back story...up until the Tragedy...I keep meaning to read these, i've readding book 6 and book 8 now, I guess I should read the restPhotojim wrote: "Nicole, I finished Undone tonight. I was thinking I might just continue on with Broken It's listed alternatively as Georgia series #2 and Grant County series #7. But it picks up where I left off.
Annie,How are you doing on A Quick Bite? I'm having a hard time getting into it. I'm on page 111 and thinking about starting a different book. Not sure. Did you finish it yet?
Kim

Kim - I've read through book 10 of that series and have to say that is my least favorite book (and couple). I'm disappointed they changed the order (it was the 4th book released) so that people start with it now. I'm not sure if I would have kept reading if it was the first book I read.

Hi Kim - no, still waiting for it to turn up... it's nearly at the library for me to pick up - nearly...
I'll have to perserve - it will fulfill my 'q' entry for the a-z title challenge!
Thanks for the warning Diane - I will read it, in a spirit of martyrdom, obviously :)
Thanks for the review, Diane. I don't read much paranormal, just J.R. Ward's Black Dagger Brotherhood series. This is far different from those and I'm having a hard time with a "light fluffy vampire" story I guess!
I enjoyed Broken and I read it without any of the backstory...if you want to see what lead up to Jeffrey's death then Beyond Reach is about the week or so prior and the role Lena had in itPhotojim wrote: "I was thinking I might just continue on with Broken It's listed alternatively as Georgia series #2 and Grant County series #7. KimKirt wrote: "Thanks for the review, Diane. I don't read much paranormal, just J.R. Ward's Black Dagger Brotherhood series. I just didn't really like the couple in that book, which made the story drag for me. Single White Vampire and The Accidental Vampire are my favorites so far.

From Your TBR:
City of Bones - You have read book 4 but still have not read the first couple, I am the type that likes to read a series in order, so I think you should read the fist one.
Dark Lover - Same reason as above, it is the first of the series and you have several of the later books.
New to You:
The Girl Who Chased the Moon - I love recommending Sarah Addison Allen to everyone, I find her gentle love story combined with a supernatural overtones to be a great combination.
The Faerie Path - This is a supernatural adventure about a young girl learning that she is the a fairy princess and she travels to a different realm.
From My TBR: (more like shared TBR:)
Fairy Tale - This one looks so interesting, I have had it on my tbr for a while too.
Vampire Kisses - This one has been laying around for what seems like forever, I hope to read it, you might be saying the same thing.
Laila, I hope you get a chance to read one of these this month. If you don't find anything you want to read, let me know and I will get you some more to choose from.
