Ok.... I may or may not have just ordered all these books from B&N.com....
Ok.... I definitely did, and I'm very disappointed in myself.... I'm sooo weak.
But.... B&N is having a clearance sale, so it was super cheap!
*takes a breath* Ok. Not mad at myself anymore. :-D

Magic bites is Awesome!!! Enjoy.
Kindle Cheapies! Here are some cheap reads, price ascending though other cheap books in a series mentioned are placed next to them. The £1.99 ebooks are also available at Waterstones(UK)for the same price for a short period of time. The $ may be off by a few cents and if there isn't a $ equivalent then I couldn't find it @ the US Kindle store but that may be because I'm based in the UK.
£1.59/$2.57
£2.65/$4.29
£1.99/$3.22
£3.13/$5.07

£3.49/$5.57
Lots of books at this price inc. those by Darren Shan, Richelle Mead, Eoin Colfer (Artemis Fowl)£3.51/$5.60
(Gifted series start from £3.32/$5.38 and most are around this price)
Finally remembered to buy the highly recommended Psycop series by Jordan Castillo Price. Let me know if I've missed any; I think I grabbed all the shorts too. Now to find the time to read them all ;)
Sandra wrote: "They're certainly had a good rap by a few people I know including LLL :)"Yes, they have. I'm looking forward to reading them.
Oooh, I hope you like Bloodshot. I can't wait for #2. They can take the story anywhere. I want to get Viper Moon too.
So far in July I have picked up
and since these have appeared in several comments and challenge lists, I also grabbed
. Been wanting to try out the Weather Warden series too, and had
in my hands today, but didn't have an extra coupon so with a little will power put it back... But, cleaned out my bookshelves and have some trade-ins and should be able to grab several in this series at HPB's this weekend, fingers are crossed.
Bought quite a few this week but they were uber cheap so WTH. All Kindle books, most from the summer sale.
Read but didn't own
Own on Kobo but wanted on Kindle
, book 2 is too expensive but I got #3
Free on Kindle
Went to WalMart tonight....wasn't planning on even looking at the books. But. I had to look. I just HAD to! Only brought home 1 book.
I looked at some others, but this was the ONLY one I couldn't keep my hands off. It's a strange size though - almost square! What's up with that???? Anybody else already have a copy? Is your's square too??????
Lady Jaye wrote: "the fire lord's lover is a great book!!"Good to know. I read Enchanting the Lady last year which I quite liked. People really shouldn't be racist about werelions who could kill you with a swipe of their paw.

i know, right? lol.
PS - imo, the world of the fire lord's lover is even coler than that of enchanting the lady!
Sandra wrote: "Lis, there is also a free prequel to the Iron Druid's
available."Thank you very much! I'm embarassed to say that I jotted down the title from the daily email feed and went to my Borders before checking the actual Goodreads listing (which has been blocked at work)... Just downloaded! This is great! Thanks Again!!
Did snag
with my 40% off coupon, so it was still a good trip...@Ames - NICE!! and Another reason to consider a Kindle...
@Ames: Thanks for sharing the free/bargain Kindle books!I saw
in a charity shop this morning, wasn't sure whether to get it though since it sounded sad (and I don't like crying) so I'll be interested to know if you like it :)
Josie wrote: "@Ames: Thanks for sharing the free/bargain Kindle books!I saw

*mumbles* I can't believe I had to say 'years ago'..... I feel soo old.... Where's my cane? I need to use the bathroom for like the 20 thousandth time today.... (J/k!)
I havent gotten to buy much in books this month. But, I am reading the Dark Tower series, which my friend loaned me all of.

ETA: I should probably mention that all the UK Kindle Summer Sale books are all cheap on Amazon.com too.

My Walmart had the same weird sized cover, so I put it back down. I decided to try and find it in a normal pb size somewhere else.
I had to have it.....I don't care what size it is!Stopped at HPB Sunday. Found these that I just couldn't leave behind:
Now I just need to find
Went to 2 different HPB's today. Had a coupon that is good for the whole week! We have a store in town that is being remodeled, so it's coupon time!!!! YAY!!!
Had one of those little coupons burning a hole in my purse so I picked up
,
and
since I've seen them recommended in several comments. This one just looked cool on the display shelf
, I hope its good. And this is my guilty fluff read I can't seem to quit
I like Half Price Books is a great place to get discounted pre-read books cheap. You can also get a little $$ for trade-ins if you can part with your old books.
No wonder I hadn't heard about HPB, they're all up around Chicago. That's at least 2 hours away from me. Thanks though for telling me what it means.
Alyssa you should come and visit! I have 4 HPB within 10 miles. And another 2 on the south side of town. It does tend to wreck havoc with the budget.....especially when those pesky coupons can be used over and over all week long!
No HPB's near me. Thought I would do a little cross border shopping, but it's a little further than a day trip. Lucky girl!
