Within the last week or so I have managed to scour thru several HPB stores here. This is what I found:
I also got a few in the mail.....
Cindy, I love
hope you love it too. Been hanging out for the sequel for a long time.Just added
to the find it list :) Love me some trekkies and with zombies, its a winner.
That's me! Coolest Grandma around. LOLOL Now if I could just find something my 11 yr old grandson will read......
Got Enders Game for him. Young boy, video games, battles - what's not to like???? Oh, yeah, Grandma has read it already and thinks it's great....kiss of death!

Love the Ender's saga books.
These are what I've snagged so far in June... Gotta stop, gotta stop, gotta stop... But I love HPBs, on a couple of trips I managed to find:
...had coupons so I also picked up:
...and a couple of audiobooks
I need help! I don't know what to buy! I only want to buy 2 of these books. That's probably why I'm having a problem. Lol.
So which should I buy??? O.O
Off the list to buy
- I'm pretty sure I can get this one from the library when I'm ready.
I've read Enclave (so has LLL) and we both gave it 5★. Although I think she loved it a bit more than me, still, great read. I want to read Die for Me and Divergent, so I'd pick one of those two. If it were me. Choices, choices, choices ... oh, sweet choices. :)
Alyssa, are you going to be able to get any of them from your library. If so, buy something you can't get from there.
Good point, Sandra. Most of them are all fairly new releases, so I might not be able to find them at the library for a while. I guess it might come down to what I have to read right away or something.
You obviously liked the first Holly Black book, since the second is on your list. That means Red Glove is almost a sure thing. On the other hand, Red Glove wasn't an automatic I-must-have-this-book-NOW, so maybe you could wait for it.I like Ann Aguirre, but haven't read Enclave yet. It's on one of my lists somewhere.
Gee, how helpful was I? Sorry. You're on your own. LOL
Picked up at Walmart while I was supposedly grocery shopping:
I haven't heard anything about that last one, but I picked it up and read the first few pages. Since I wanted to continue, it went in the cart.
ETA: Apparently I don't remember hearing anything about it. In reality, I added Blood of the Wicked to my TBR back in April. LOL. I see a lot that interests me and then some of them get lost in the sheer volume of UF/PNR out there.
LOL supposedly grocery shopping Well, hopefully they'll be filling reads. ;)The same thing happens to books on my wishlist!
Alyssa - I'm reading
now. Liking it, but can't say that I love it. It's my first steampunk....I would personally go with ANYTHING that references revenants.....and

That's great news b/c I just recently bought #1-3 too. :)I haven't updated my "splurge" list lately.

Steph, were you replying to me or Sandra?
Perhaps I should have edited the quoted part, when I replied to Sandra....because now I see it "captured" the McKenna series
Sandra -- the 3rd Esri book will be out in February and the 4th will be April.
LOL. I already had 4-6 of the McKennas, so I was glad to find the first 3. And I was glad there was more Esri's coming out as that series looked intriguing.
Steph wrote: "Both actually. I was referring to the McKenna series. :)"Thanks for clearing that up. I got confused and then I wondered if I caused the confusion. :D
Steph, to put my two cents in you should read Die For Me by Amy Plum! I reviewed it for a website and I thought it was awesome!
No worries, Christina :)Thanks, Sarah! I have just gotten that one and look forward to reading it soon.
