1. Why is A at the beginning of the alphabet? Really, they are all just symbols of sound. Is there any reason that we always put them in an order? Is A more important than M? Is it because of that stupid song? Just look at the problems being the penultimate letter has caused Y. It's not the baby, but so far from the front that it has an identity crisis. Am I a vowel or am I a consonant? We don't condemn it for which way it decides to swing, be I'm sure we'd feel better for it if it would make up it's mind already. As it is, it is just a sad cry for attention. Burning Bright by Janine Ashbless (8/13)
2. It's been shown that a woman's IQ drops nearly 50 points for the 24 hours following birth. First, I bet that it was a man that came up with this study. Second, I wonder how many of the researchers were injured in the questioning. Happy Birthday, Julie An Irresistible Bachelor by Jessica Bird (8/4)
3. Deutschland, Deutschland über alles,
Über alles in der Welt,
Wenn es stets zu Schutz und Trutze
Brüderlich zusammenhält.
Von der Maas bis an die Memel,
Von der Etsch bis an den Belt,
