Valorie--have you tried any of Joanne Fluke's recipes she gives? Some of them are totally TO DIE FOR.

The Crunchy Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe she gives in Chocolate Chip Cookie Murder has totally replaced the Toll House one for everyone that I've baked them for.

And her sugar cookie--the one she says to let "sit" in the fridge for at least 24 hours? That's one that has even anti-sugar cookie people loving it. Of course--I left it for 48 hours, which I think is what made the difference, but it really is wonderfully delish.

I have all her books. I STARTED reading them because they were mysteries. Now I buy them for the recipes. :oP
