Glass houses was ok. It was an interesting after reading so many "vampires are dangerous, but sexy and the best lovers" type books, it was different getting used to the "vampires are bad guys" type. But I did enjoy it and will probably read the rest of the series at some point.

9.Storm Front (Dresden Files, Book 1) by Jim Butcher - 5/8 - ★★★★ - I've been shying away from this series for awhile now because it was both written by a male author and has a male main character which I haven't enjoyed in the past, but Butcher has a very clean writing style and I like Harry Dresden so it was a nice surprise! I'll definitely keep reading!

Well, finished 3 Night Huntress books last week...and just finally updating today! LOL...really enjoyed it, and wasn't so happy I can't find out what happens next until February. Deep sigh. Almost through another "non-challenge" book...Shadow Game by C. Feehan, good one too. Next book will be on list as a couple have finally arrived! May do some more revisions depending on covers as I'm dying to read all the new stuff first!

Glass houses was ok. It was an interesting after reading so many "vampires are dangerous, but sexy and the best lovers" type books, it was different getting used to the "vampires are bad guys" type. But I did enjoy it and will probably read the rest of the series at some point.

I'm not sure why I thought I wouldn't love Marr's latest as much as all of the others simply because the characters weren't particularly well known. She worked her magic though and I quickly became immersed in her world of dark faeries and fell in love with Devlin and Ani.
