Yay Avigail! I didn’t realize this was your first Amazing Race! It’s so fun. So we have to make sure to make it extra good!!

☘Kat..."
I liked that one too Avigail. Enjoy!!

Sass, I felt the same way about that book! Though I should have realized it had a cliffhanger being a duet... 🤷🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️"
Me too! But call me naive! LOL, I'll be getting to the second book soon!

Yes, Sass, I saw it on your read shelf; only you read it in 2020. Next time I will pick something from your read shelf.

I am listening to the audiobook following with the e-book that I borrowed from KU. The female narrator is fantastic with the southern accent. From the little that I am reading, I like it.

I'm not sure about that...maybe put that in the Q&A

This was a very cute fake relationship turns real story. I really liked both Norah and Patrick although Patrick really kept his feelings close to the vest. I was so afraid that there was going to be drama when Liv showed up and I was so pleasantly surprised when the author took us in a different direction.
And of course you know when the whole be my fake girlfriend thing comes up that you are going to have some real feeling creeping in. But I was happy that this H/h seemed to go all in. It was refreshing. And there wasn't all this miscommunication that we are so used to.
The narration was done amazingly by my girl Andi Arndt, the story was cute and enjoyable. I'm looking forward to more in this this series for sure.
As of now there are no other books listed so I hope that we get to Jack next. He's definitely got me intrigued.

Review: 'Burn for You' is a modern-day beauty and the beast. This is my first book by this author, and I loved it! I will definitely be looking forward to more.
The relationship between Bianca and Jackson is amazing on its own, but there are so many other details that make this book fantastic. Jackson has one friend...his servant, who's known him since birth. His character is awesome and so snarky. Every time he was on the page, I was laughing out loud. Also, Bianca is a chef, and her food plays heavily into the story. There are about 10 recipes added within the book, and they sound as delicious as the romance was in this one.
I loved this story. There are a lot of highs and lows and a lot of emotions throughout the story. That kind of angst is perfect for my reading preferences. I highly recommend this one. If you like angst and sexy chemistry, this story has it in spades.
The story flows so smoothly and is weaved so well together that I couldn’t put it down until I finished it.

Glad you liked it!

Thanks, Sass.

Review: A Russian mafia, BDSM story. Samantha is unable to process fear and she likes to push her limits and decides to try BDSM. Oleg and his 3 friends run a BDSM club and decide to take Samantha as their new submissive. Oleg is also trying to help his family form an alliance with another mafia family to take down the family responsible for his parents death. For me the story was a little disjointed with only minimal cross over between the 2 elements. There is a cliffhanger at the end which is obviously tied to the mafia element but I can’t say it left me having to read the next book immediately.

Review — Another fun installment in this delightful series! Wyatt isn’t one of my favorite heroes, but as he spends more time in Lake Starlight the better man he becomes. Brooklyn is amazing. While she certainly shed appropriate tears, she also picked herself up and moved on. Considering that she received a text message (seriously!!) from her would-be-groom, she could have been a flat character who wallowed in her misery. Instead, she took control, accepted her part in the failed nuptials, and placed the rest of the blame in its correct spot...on her ex! Brooklyn and Wyatt together was a stretch for me at first, but as their friendship grew and they acknowledged their attraction, they made more sense. It was fun seeing Austin and Holly doing well and getting to know this family and its townsfolk better. The Bailey’s are a fun family to visit with and I look forward to my next trip to Alaska!

Of course! All checked in! =)

Me too! I’ve got book 7 to read as part of the MNG Oct/Nov challenge

Enemies to Lovers with some really inappropriate workplace behavior. I'm really glad that HR didn't know. LOL
But seriously, I thought this was cute however unbelievable it was and it had a really adorable ending/epilogue. I was happy that these two people who were damaged in the same but different ways were able to find such love and happiness in one another.
I thought the scene with the ex-boyfriend at the zoo was a bit immature and unnecessary and some of the dialogue was a bit cheesy but overall I enjoyed it.

Not enough to round up to *4 STARS*.
This was my least favorite of the series. It wasn't sensual like the others and it seemed very juvenile. I don't know maybe I just wasn't in the mood, but I wasn't as invested in these characters.
The narration was good. It had a nice wrapped up HEA but overall, I just felt blah to me.

Review: 2nd book in the series following the girls who learned they were daughters of the ruling Titan Cronus. Hera, Demeter and Hestia work to try and find their remaining 2 brothers (Poseidon and Hades) to try and fulfil the prophecy of their youngest brother Zeus overthrowing their father. The book is focused on Hera as the general and how everyone wants to follow her. The story also sees her relationship with the demigod Theo progress. Only confusing bits were all the Titan names and what they ruled over. I enjoyed this and it sounds like there may be a 3rd in the series.
