What's a girl to do after being ditched at the altar by text message? That's right. Text. Message.

How does she pick up the pieces and move on? I'm no Dear Abby but here's a little free advice...

Advice #1 - First, purge your apartment of all things him--by tossing his belongings off the balcony.

“I will carry you with me. ‘Til I see you again.”

The Baileys are my new go-to series for every time I crave a simple, fun romance full of family dynamics and without unnecessary drama. Advice from a Jilted Bride is a strangers to friends to lovers, with a bit of fake dating and forbidden romance. It can be read as a standalone, even though you always enjoy a tiny bit more if you read these kinds of books in order.

I pick up the sci-fi novel Jeff claimed was better than any of my romance b

I just cannot with this book, the heroine thinks that if she sleeps around that means she is a slut and her BROTHER had to tell her that there is nothing wrong with having a meaningless ONS....

I would have honestly loved it if she had a couple of ONS after her fiance dumped her through text the day before her wedding!! I mean it would be so refreshing to read about a woman actually letting loose once in a while. Haven't we read tons of books where the hero has either been dumped or left at the

Binge read this in one sitting yesterday! And I’m going to be honest, I’m absolutely spellbound by this series. Every book (there’s 2 so far) has been downright dreamy! Such sweet and charming love stories with the best dialogue and steamy moments. It feeds my bookish heart. I can’t even tell you! I’m a huge fan of The Baileys and I’m ready for more! Full review coming.

This series is very sweet, entertaining and funny. The books seem pretty Hallmark movieish w/some sexy times.

Maybe because I am reading a very dark trilogy at the same time as I'm reading this series, it just seems like these books are calming and sweet. They tend to be low angst but still enough conflict/angst to keep them interesting.

I NEED MORE OF THE BAILEYS!!!!!!!
I adore this series!

It’s funny. It’s emotional. It’s frustrating. It’s the entire package! And I can’t wait for more!

Brooklyn and Wyatt don't meet under the best of circumstances. Brooklyn is throwing out all of her ex's stuff after he left her at the alter. In the middle of throwing his stuff out, like throwing it out the window and into the apartment hallway, she ends up hitting Wyatt with a book.

What neither one of them realize is that he is her new boss at the hotel his father just bought.
Plus, Brooklyn is just out of a relationship. She can't just start a new one.

When things between Brooklyn and Wyatt

Advice from a Jilted Bride was the second book in the Baileys series by the authors Piper Rayne. The books are best read in order as they build on each other.

We learned in book one there are nine Bailey siblings: Austin, Savannah, Brooklyn, Rome (twin), Denver (twin), Juno, Kingston, Phoenix (twin) and Sedona (twin) and they were the heart and soul of the (very) small town Lake Starlight, Alaska.

Brooklyn Bailey was the third oldest sibling. She was engaged to be married to someone we learned the

You guys!! Advice from a Jilted bride was so amazing. I loved the typical banter and laughs you get from a Piper Rayne story, but this story had such great heart. Brooklyn and Wyatt were so sexy and delicious and I never wanted it to end!

After meeting Brooklyn in the first Bailey book I knew that I needed her story stat. I love that we are back in the Bailey fold and the small town of Lake Starlight. After being stood up at the later, Brooklyn Bailey is ready to move on and pick up the pieces. B

I don't know how Piper and Rayne create the magic that they do but they have done it again, and with such a difficult topic as well. How do you go on after being left at the alter with nothing more than a text message? You would think this book would be mostly about the heartache and how Brooklyn was devastated by the events that had taken place, and she was but THANKFULLY Wyatt, her HOT new neighbor, was there to help her get over the ass a lot quicker than expected.

I love the family dynamic between the Bailey siblings... they are so close, always taking care of each other and always wanting the best for one another.

I know from the get-go that Jeff was not the one for Brooklyn so wasn’t surprised when he left her. I loved watching Brooklyn grow into her own... into a strong, independent single woman without Jeff.

Wyatt is her next door neighbor and sparks fly despite her wanting to guard her heart and then finding out he is her boss.

I loved watching these

A favorite author of mine is the duo known as Piper Rayne as their series have the right amount and balance of humor and seriousness. You also feel connected to the whole characters and have this strong sense of friendship and family values throughout all their different series. Advice from a Jilted Bride is Book #2 in her new series "The Baileys' which are a family of siblings - nine of them who were left to bind together and raise one another when their parents died in a tragedy together. 4 STARS!!!

Piper Rayne is back with another captivating laugh out loud romance, that literally had me grinning and swooning with every single chapter. Advice From A Jilted Bride picks up the story of the Bailey family with the middle child Brooklyn Bailey, who was on her way to saying 'I do' when who she thought was the love of her life ends things minutes before the procession. Heart broken and angry at the opposite sex, Brooklyn begins the journey of starting over when she meets her new neighbo

I am absolutely loving this series. This is book 2 in the Bailey series and it was jut as fantastic as the first one. This is Brooklyn Bailey's story and starts off at her wedding or should I say wedding that wasn't. Her fiancé has left her on their wedding day, leaving her to no only clean up the mess and tell all of their guests but she is also left heart broken and angry. I mean he did tell her in a text message that it was over, I wou

Piper Rayne always writes these killer slow burn books and this is no different. I loved how we got to see all the Baileys again in this book and they were still just as awesome!

From the beginning where Brooklyn and Wyatt met it was just love at first sight even in really tragic events. They had so much chemistry and they were just natural with each other from the start.
Wyatt was the perfect gentleman who had so much to give but never did, but this time he chooses to give everything t

Brooklyn was left at the altar by her fiance and is now trying to pick up the pieces. She never expects to find love again, especially not so soon after her failed attempt at marriage. But when the guy across the hall continues to be there for her when she needs, she finds herself falling hard and fast.

Wyatt Brooklyn's new sexy neighbor is on a mission. He's in Lake Starlight to prove to his father that he can take over for his company. Starting at the bottom of the totem pole at work he does e

As I read this book I couldn't decide which of the main characters I loved more. Brooklyn was so sweet and was so down to earth. Every chapter from her point of view just highlighted how relatable she was. And then there was Wyatt. Talk about swoon worthy or book boyfriend material. These two might have met on one of the worst days of Brooklyn's life but their meeting was memorable and set the stage for this strangers to friends to lovers story. I really enjoyed the slow burn feel to it. I reall

I'm just loving the Bailey family more and more. With Advice from a Jilted Bride being the second in this series, it's definitely my favorite so far. I loved and appreciated the steady pace that happened between them aka I was all for the slow burn!

Everything that happened between Brooklyn and Wyatt was everything that I needed and more. From the very beginning when Wyatt just kind of popped up in her life or well when Brooklyn threw a book at his head, it was friendship at ... first, throw? I d

My favorite Bailey novel to date! The Baileys are a crazy bunch and there’s so many of them, the run the town. One of my favorite things about reading a Piper Rayne’s novel is that the family bonds are so strong, it feels real. Like I know this family, I know these people. Their feels are my feels. So, when Brooklyn’s new neighbor also happens to be her boss, what’s a girl to do, be friends ONLY of course. Good thing fate had other plans. I loved the book. It was a one sitting read, much like al

This series absolutely works for me. It has the feels, the giggles and the heat so perfectly balanced. And Wyatt describing the town as Stars Hollow is so stuck in my head and has just added to the magic for me. And the buzz wheel blog just makes me want to pack up and move into the world.

Of course the Bailey family is awesome and I love them all to pieces and if you read the first book you know Brooklyn's fiance was a tool no one liked. But damn he was such a dick. Luckily the family banded to

What a lovely romance, a slow burn which builds beautifully into a perfect romance. Even as they become neighbours, friends and then perfect for each other.

First things first, the book titles in this series don't make any sense story-wise and Advice from a Jilted Bride had more questions/doubts than advice in it.
Also, it was full of the most frequent clichés (like seriously cool G'ma D, for instance). I've read a few jilted-bride plots in the past and never was bored as much as I was with Brooklyn's story. In my opinion, the jilting thing served only as an excuse for hero and heroine introduction, not as a building step for her pretty lukewarm char

This was a very good book. I really liked it a lot. Then why didn't I give it 5 stars? Because at the end I wanted the scene where H confronted his dad on paper. His dad was such a bast@rdi wanted to see his reaction when his son said fuck all and (spoilers) left him and his chain of hotels. See I really hated his father but I despised the heroine's ex. He was a douche, a effing sonofabitch. Wanted to see him suffer and realize his mistake and regret his decision gor along period especially afte ...more
