It would depend on the task - I can't recall all of them of the top of my head. So maybe? (I know that is super helpful, but you know my brain well enough to decipher it. 😂 Sorry, not sorry about that!)

The tasks I was concerned about are:
12. Read a book recommended to you by a teammate - no pass for this task.
99. Each teammate lists 5 favorite books. Select books from 2 different teammates and read them.

0. As a team select your favorite month of 2019 (because 2020 basically SUCKS!) and each player reads a book initially published in that month. No pass for this task.
For this task we are using the initial publication date. If one is listed at the top of the editions page, use that. Otherwise I will be looking for the first published date of an English language edition. Remember to use the first English language Kindle edition for your page count and ensure that your completion posts contain all the required information listed in message #3 of your team thread.

Hi Kat - if the paperback was published October, but Kindle edition was published November, do we use the Kindle edition publication date?

No, you would use the first English language edition date for this task if there is no date listed at the top of the editions page. In this case it would be October.

Quick clarification. The first task is to chose a book initially published in your chosen month of 2019. Sorry if that wasn't clear enough.Also two reminders -
● Books can not be started before the task is given! (That is the case for all challenges in RRRC. Some challenges you can backdate, but only to the beginning of the challenge.)
● Everyone should be getting notifications for this thread and your team thread!!

Audible Escape is going away!!! ***cries***
I guess all we can hope for is that they pull more romance titles into Audible Plus...not holding my breath though, since that's free and AE is a paid subscription.

That is soooo not good news! I saw it this morning. 😢I hope they get more books in Plus because so far it has not been impressive.

I'm so sad that they are taking it away. I am hoping for more romance titles because what they have now is really slim pickings.
Yeah, the Plus catalogue is really not that great. Let's just hope that some of the books that are in Escape make it there!I think I'll wait to see once it launches to see if it makes sense to change my membership. In the meantime, I'll try to listen to all the books that are currently in my WL!!

It's free (and looks like it will stay that way) if you have a premium (paid) membership. $7.95 per month without.
Once I catch my breath - just got home and sat down, I will check the completions.Am I the only one who finds going out and dealing with people exhausting?! I think it is always being on guard, but when I get home I'm wiped out.
Eek. I paused Audible Escape to cut down on expenses. I might have get for the last month so I can finish the Cindy Gerard series it has. My library does't even have them in e-book.Welp, there's no longer an option to join Audible Escape. But it looks like those Cindy Gerard books are in Audible plus.
