Hopefully this is just due to issues with printing and shipping the book and not a sign they are considering to cancelation. It is one of my most anticipated releases. I've held off reading this material for years waiting for the oversize edition to finish off the Cooke Parker material.

The first edition that has now been reprinted is The Parker Martini Edition. The second volume is The Parker Martini Edition: Last Call.

The only new release I ordered yesterday was the second Oblivion Song OHC.

I read the first trade and was bored. How many issues until the story heats up?

I think if you read the second trade and you still aren't into it, I'd probably skip the rest of it. =)

Sweet! It's the best Hellboy community that I have found. And the mod is the writer for Mignola-related news at Multiversity.com so we are always up to date. We have discussions for the weekly releases which are always fun and there are some really knowledgable people who post routinely there. I look forward to seeing you there!

There are fans there with varying degrees of knowledge, and every contribution is welcome. If you want, check out the Hellboy book club podcast. They go through the mignolaverse in chronological order and discuss the details. It's a good way to make all of the connections between the stories. They speak clearly so its a great way to practice English if thats something up your alley.

CGN has been legendarily slow with my orders lately. I think what’s happening is their website says in stock, it’s actually BO’d but I’m not notified (this is a no no in most customer service), then it ships so late I forget I even ordered it. Or one of the books OB my order is BO’d, they wait an indiscriminate amount of time for it to show up, then hold the rest of the order for the book that never shows, then they ask me what I wanna do. Busiek’s Batman Creature of the Night, which I ordered May 26, just shipped.

Thanks, dude. Yeah, English practice's definetly up my alley.
I was late getting on IST this week end missed the Marvel Masterwork Cap regular cover. Several things sold out the day of release (the Punisher Epic and Solo Leveling TPB vol 2).
The first week in August is looking very busy for release of Marvel omnibus volumes - Wolverine volume 2, Amazing Spiderman by Micheline and McFarlane, Death of Captain America by Brubaker omnibus, Captain America by Jurgens, Golden Age Captain America vol 2, and X-Factor by Peter David.

Nice. I really want DC to continue down the Deluxe path for Injustice but not sure that's in the cards.
Finished reading the second hardcover of Kirkman's Oblivion Song this weekend. Enjoyed where the story is going as we see another faction get developed and the story twist and turn. I expect at least enough additional material for a third hardcover.
I also checked out a manga called Berserk of Gluttony. Fantasy fare about a poor young man trying to make his way in the world with a skill called gluttony that he thinks is useless. However, he comes to find out it causes him to gain the skills of enemies he kills. Third book comes out Tuesday and I'll read it. Fun series so far but pretty short volumes. Probably more middle of the road content - if you haven't checked out some of the best manga books within the fantasy genre I wouldn't pick this up first.

I enjoyed Slott's Surfer book and I'm glad we got it in Omnibus format. =)
Nice grab on the She-Hulk book. =)
Read Scottie Young's MiddleWest book in oversized hardcover this week. Nicely put together book in omnibus size. It was more serious by far in tone compared to his comedy book, I Hate Fairyland. This one did have a poor son and father relationship as one of the driving story forces. Still a fantasy story with supernatural elements. Overall I liked it.

I preordered this week's Cap Omnibus as well as Death of Cap, so hoping those come in soon. I'm going to pass on Wolverine 2, even though I'd really like to read the Nick Fury Graphic Novel that's included. Will probably regret that but running out of space...

I bought the first Wolverine omnibus when it came out in 2009 (IIRC). I've been waiting all these years for it - probably the book I've waited the longest for between volume 1 and 2 of every series I've ever read (Scott Lynch's long break between Gentlemen Bastard books will be the next longest running streak when I get this, 2013 to present).
I've really enjoyed the Kill 6 Billion Demons series.
In other random news, the final single issue for Remender's Seven to Eternity series comes out next week. That should help solidify the eventual release date for the hardcover.

There must be a mistake with this one. As far as i know, Golden Wind HC, vol. 1 is the only one printed in english so far.

Looks like DC's The Last God DLX/Black Label hardcover is supposed to come out this next Tuesday as well. I pre-ordered this one through DCBS. =)

I did as well. So far I've been enjoying the Black Label HCs.
I'm hoping Jock's announced one will be good. He's writing it so we'll see about the story...

I have unknowingly ordered multiple copies several times. With DCBS preorders, some will be on there for several months and they’ve gotten me that way.
Really, Marvel? Really?!?
At least Defenders was the start of a series. Why in the world would you change it now on something with two volumes already?

Just got my copy in today and yah, I'm not happy with that spine at all lol. I'd say it was a printing error with whomever they contracted for it, but you'd imagine they would correct that before sending them out. It just looks horrible.
