Ordered:
Morrison Batman V2
Astro City Aftermaths
Couple IST questions:
If you pay with PayPal, can you use American Express? They don't normally accept it, but it is an option with PayPal.
Has anyone ever seen or used a Discount Code with them? I always look at the option to enter one when ordering but I've never seen one given out anywhere.

That said, I think one time I got an email with a discount code, but can't remember what it was for.
There are occasional IST discount codes they send out to folks. When I see them they usually last just a couple days and it is usually over the weekend. I'll try to remember to post here next time I see one. :)
Thanks Rel, that would be awesome. Quite a few just sitting in the wishlist that a coupon would likely help me pull the trigger on.
I get emails saying extra 3% or whatever on specific weekends but it's always been automatic. No code needed.

Now tht I have read this - I didn't like anywhere near as much as Lazarus. Art was decent but nearly all grey tones with occasional splashes of colors which created a dreary atmosphere for me. Lots of dialog. The story type is more occult mystery than action or adventure. I'm not sure I'd go for a second volume.

8pm and Berserk Vol. 2 is still available, so that’s good.
Other offering on IST that wasn’t mentioned, is Vol 4 of the 20th Century Boys Perfect Edition. Been looking forward to this one.

Looks like as of this morning Berserk HC vol 2 is sold out on IST. I'm sure it will eventually be back in stock.
For those of us that bought the first The Complete Little Nemo 1905-1909 book, the second volume was recently released completing the collection: https://www.amazon.com/Winsor-McCay-C...
Volume one is still the largest book in my collection. :) The second book is a bit more expensive than the fantastic deal Amazon had on the first volume when several of us purchased it.

I think this is a second printing of the complete little Nemo. I’ve had the same one for a couple years now and it’s white not blue

I believe they did a two volume white set in 2014. Then they published volume one as a stand alone in 2017 (which many of us got super cheap) and now they are doing the second volume alone in 2019. If the Amazon page counts are correct the two single volumes have four more pages than the 2014 white set.
I'm going to wait to see IST show my copy of Berserk DLX 2 is picked up and scanned before canceling my Amazon order.

Here are pics I showed on that original. I can't check both right now, as the white I keep at home and the blue I use as a coffee table at my office for clients. The blue I believe has articles and commentaries throughout about McCay, where as I believe the complete volume is mostly just the comics.
White complete volume comes with another book for the articles and what not and a significant cardboard carrying case.
Size and binding between the two was significant
For those of you not sure what Rel means when he says biggest book . . . these are beasts. Here's a pic with an Absolute edition and another with standard TPB
The overall point being, for those of you interested, Rel makes a great point and service to us all for that Amazon link . . . it's a great price for the content.

In other news, I picked up the Dept. H omnibus 1 TPB and loved it so much that I couldn't wait for volume 2 in a few months and went ahead and grabbed the HC volumes 3 & 4 DH put out awhile back. I love this story.
Trying to be better at keeping up with my reviews on the HC I read, but here's one for Dept H Vol. 3 HC.

I've been putting many out there, so I have some sort or catalogue and way to remember what I thought (love goodreads for this) and will continue to do so. That being said, most of the new stuff I expect to be Vineland Saga for a couple weeks or so, finally started last night with the HC and crushed Volume 1 and two last night . . . loving this series too.

For some reason I thought there weren't any Dept H HCs but I guess I missed the boat (ahem). Are they standard size like mind MGMT?

They are standard size. I read the first book and it was good but initial impression was that I like Mind MGM better - however, that is just based on book one.
Eric, thanks for the pictures for folks on the Nemo books.
Glad to hear you are liking Vinland Saga. I have the next couple books I need to get into (probably this weekend).
I tried the first omnibus of Immortal Blade and like it and ordered the second book.

CGC slabbed comic with an original Herb Trimpe sketch of Wolverine and signed by Trimpe, Romita, Wein and Thomas. I submitted it back in May to collect the Romita and Thomas signatures, and the grade even went up from a 9.4. This grin on my face won’t be gone anytime soon!

I was wondering if anyone owns DC One Million Omni and what the quality is? I read a few issues in the DC app and I’m sold.
I haven't picked up the One Million omnibus but I've been curious about it as well.
I ordered the latest Batman DLX vol 4, Monstress DLX vol 1 (DCBS exclusive version), and DC's Cosmic Odyssey DLX that has been on my list for a while.

Im probably out for a while now until the Timely's Greatest Omni series starts with the Sub-Mariner at the end of August.
I ordered Silver Surfer Parable as well and invincible v11 and 12. Plan to do a straight read through of the final volumes.
I forgot about Silver Surfer Parable but I do want a copy of that.
Blindzider, looking forward to your thoughts about Invincible once you complete your Invincible read. I thought volume 11 was fantastic and it had me on the edge of my seat perhaps more than any other volume.

I think since Vol 6 and 7 I've been hooked so looking forward to the conclusion.

I received the Silver Surfer Parable today and it IS a new size. Same height as The Sixth Gun, taller than an Absolute. Sorry if this picture is squashed (so hard to post inline pictures). Now I wonder how often Marvel will be using this size. What sucks is that it's about 1/8" too tall to fit on my shelves.

Thanks for sharing those pictures. I'll have to pick up a copy of the Silver Surfer book eventually.
This week I ordered Marvel Masterworks Captain America vol 11, Blade of the Immortal TPB Omnibus vol 5 and 6, and Swamp Thing: Roots of Terror DLX.
Also ordered one the of the Gabz Captain America prints. The regular is available as an open edition thru Sunday morning here if anyone is interested: https://greymatterart.com/collections...

Started reading Monstress HC vol 1 last night and really enjoyed what I read. I think the art is excellent, which always helps. It's high fantasy so if that is your thing this is worth checking out. The book won multiple Eisner awards* and it's easy to see why it impressed people pretty quickly after having the book in your hands.
The only bad news about this book if you end up loving it, is that it contains 18 issues (awesome length) but there are only six issues released after these so far. Which means there will likely be over a year gap between the first book release date and a second.

X-Men: Classic Omni
X-Men: Mutant Massacre Omni
Also got back a cover print of Incredible Hulk #181 with signatures from Romita, Thomas, Trimpe & Wein (collected same time as my CGC comic signed by all 4 that I posted last month).
Best add to my "collection," though, was an experience. I went to the University of Wyoming's American Heritage Center to view their Stan Lee Papers collection. 118 boxes, and got through 17 of them in about 5.5 hours. I took over 400 photos and then capped the day off with a back to back viewing of FFH and the extended cut of Endgame. Great day!
Here are some of the highlights from the collection that I saw:

In regard to “giving the wallet a break” . . . Not much to get excited about on the horizon for several weeks IMO.
Agreed. I bought a few marvel masterworks on eBay in the meantime:
Deathlok
Silver Surfer V1 and 2
I got tired of not having SS and I think the chances of a reprint on the Omnibus are really slim.

One of my favorite Marvel titles!

Nice. Now that you have the masterworks for Silver Surfer I look forward to seeing a reprint solicited and appreciate your sacrifice. :p
You know, I needed to pick up the X-Static omnibus when it was easily available around $40 but never got around to it. If this new series gets a good oversize edition at some point I'd probably be willing to check it out. I'm trying to wean myself away from single issues a bit more after following a handful of characters for a bit.
I finished the Monstress hardcover and really liked it all the way through.
Tried the first TPB of Port of Earth. The first book spent a lot of time setting up the story versus setting up the two characters who appear to the be the main characters. Not sure whether I'll check out the next book.

I’m torn, not a huge fan collecting individual floppies, but I’ll probably buy the individual books to help support the series.
Also buying the House of X & Powers of X comics individually, excited for that. Good time to be a X-fan!
